Correct dimensions; easy to work with; be careful about bending it
14 June 2021
* Its dimensions were as specified, i.e., the 30 mm wide, 30 mm high, 3 mm thick, and 1 m long. Thank you, Bunnings.* I easily drilled 10 holes into the aluminium using Full Boar's 3 to 4 mm M35 Co drill bits and Kincrome's Hi-Temp Bearing High Performance Grease. Nothing broke except when I tried widening a 3-mm-diameter hole to 4 mm diameter after deciding that the hole was too small; apparently the "pilot hole" was too wide and a negligibly-small piece of the aluminium chipped, which was not a problem for my application.* The angle bar can be cut with a greased hacksaw blade with some effort. However, be careful that bending a flat portion of the angle bar with pliers around two times after cutting it along its length using a hacksaw can cause the aluminium to crack and break off. In some cases, this is a good thing if you want to break off a piece of the aluminium but do not want to cut it all the way through with a hacksaw.... Show more

Finishing angle.
4 September 2020
Had to finish where vertical and horizontal shiplap boards butted together. Used the aluminium angle that worked a treat. It was easy to cut with a hack saw and countersink with a c/sink bit in a drill. Once cut I gave it a detailed sand with 240 sand paper, a coat of White Knight Etch Primer, followed by two coats of Taubmans 3 In 1 Primer and two coats of Taubmans topcoat. The finish is just superb and the bulk of the work took about a day.... Show more

Great idea for gunks in glamour kitchen
27 March 2022
I bought this silver edging about a month ago. I had a gunk out of my beautiful kitchen made with the vacuum cleaner. I have put these edgings on every corner in my kitchen, matches perfectly to trims and cabinet handles and now no more marks when the vacuum hits corners. Great idea.... Show more
