Amazfit GTS 2 Smart Watch - Midnight Black

Review after 12 days of extensive usage- the battery is still 10 % remaining on 12th end of day. functions like sleep tracking and heart rate are accurate and useful. Day 4 review- I am writing review after 4 days of extensive usage. The watch has very bright Amoled display that is visible in full 🌞. Very light weight. Soft silicone band is comfortable. The steps counter is very accurate. Sleep tracking is amazing. I really don't know how it manages it but it gave me a lot of insight in the Zepp app. Hats off. Heart rate is inaccurate by about 2 percent and spo2 sensor is also inaccurate by about 5 percent however these are acceptable as it is not a medical device. GPS is also superb. Battery is amazing. I was confused between watch 4 and amazefit. Amazefit was the first company to make smart watches and with due course of time they started making affordable and accurate watches. Though we can say the watch ia not having many gimic features but the main advantage of the watch is battery backup. I am a daily jogger which goes to park for running 🏃‍♂️.The watch easily gives you 5-7 days backup in real life scenario as well. My elder brother is using fossil and one of very good friend is using samsung galaxy watch 4. Both watch 4 and fossil watches need daily charging like mobile phones. Which I feel is good deciding factor for many people. I am using GTR 2 NEW VERSION from 3 weeks. It's a better Amoled Display Watch than the budget smartwatches from other companies within 5K Range. It's UI is awesome and smooth. I love the watches of It. It does have inbuilt storage for music which is good for watchface storage too. I have downloaded more than 15 watchfaces in the watch itself and switch it from One to another. I also love AOD of it. It get disconnected twice on its own and then didn't connect so i had to reset it and reconnect again . I thought call can be made from it too but after buying i came to know it can be used for only receiving call not for making it. I hope Amazfit provide it via any OTA. It's a must have feature. I didn't use the music feature though i uploaded the more than 100 songs in it and it got disconnected so when i reset it, all songs was deleted. Uploading of song takes a really long time if you are uploading more than 50 music songs. Music mode should have been automatically selected of the phone, but it's default setting is of the watch. This thing can be updated via OTA too i think. If there was an Map feature to see to where to go then it would have been the perfect watch for me. Reply on messgae feature is also not here. It can be fixed via OTA too. In the overall terms it does have awesome display, better watchfaces, Good AOD, Smooth UI, storage . It lacks Reply, Call Making (which is must ) , Map (which is additional for me).But in the festival sale when you can get it within 7K it a Hurry For Buy from Me .

Really loved the design and the interface. Unlike other cheap smartwatches, this one doesnt feel choppy, The UI is smooth and the screen quality is amazing. It has an AMOLED screen which is pretty bright. My brightness is set to Auto mode always which mostly keeps the brightness to around 10% and even at that its really really bright. At Outdoors, it's at around 50%.You never actually need to go till 100% brightness. Apart from this, the display colors are vibrant, the watchfaces look really good on this one. The only drawback is that there aren't many watchfaces in the app. Only around 90. But good thing is you can download more using 3rd party apps like AmazFaces where you can find 1000s. Amazing battery life, I had used watch all day from morning to night and one entire night with Heart rate monitoring on every 30 mins and stress monitoring on every 5 mins, battery lasted for 15 days and still it is 6% left. It takes 1 to 1.15 hrs to fully charge as it supports fast charging with normal 5W charger3. SpO2 sensor is accurate. Battery back up is top notch. Not many watch faces but there are enough. You can't pickup calls but you can silent or reject a call. It focussed more on user experience than putting more features like bluetooth calling. It paired with my realme buds 2 is best combo. I can know who is calling in the watch and I can pickup the call using my realme buds 2(it pairs vey fast). If you have a Bluetooth headphone, then calling feature is unnecessary. First Of All Amazing Fit (Fits perfectly, no irritation for skin). The Quality of the watch is top-notch. Step Tracking is 98% accurate I would say. The Heart Rate, SPO2 works perfect, giving accurate results (+2,-2 in some cases) . It has many handy useful features and functions. The Notifications Of Incoming Calls, Messages, Apps is Excellent, Vibration intensities can be customised. Perfect Visibility Outdoors, it also has auto-brightness. Many of these trivial features are noticeable and good . Battery Life With Trade-off for features will get you a 9-10 day normal usage. But if you are using with all features on , brightness maxed and AO(Always-On) Display, then it'll fetch you battery upto 2 days. Its Superb. I'll recommend it definitely

A very good purchase

This mini size is perfect for a woman's arm. The face is easy to read. I love that it records elevation gained. It is very accurate as compared to a fitbit charge 4 or strava. The GPS does a good job. The battery life is well over a week. It's easy to use with the Zepp app. Very easy to get all set up. It does steps, distance, elevation, cadence, stride, oxygen, heart rate, stress level, pai, sleep, receives text (no outgoing reply though) and phone call notification. The colored display is easy to read even in exercise mode (which there are tons of different modes). I didn't like my Charge 4 because my 60+ yr old eyes could not read it, so I love this Amazfit GTR 2mini because I can read it!! This was a great buy for a great price and the seller did a great job.
