The Amazon Fire TV Stick 4k Max was so easy to set up! I was able to connect it to my TV and set up my smart tv in less than 20 minutes! I was so impressed by the ease and accessibility of this product. I have loved the setup of the Fire Tv remote which is medium sized and has all the features I needed on my TV! The Amazon Fire Tv Stick works quickly, and I am able to access all my favorite streaming networks easily and consistently. I’m considering buying another Fire Tv Stick, just to use while i’m traveling! The interface was easy to navigate and I loved the Alexa feature on the remote. Overall, I have had a great experience trying the Amazon Fire Tv stick! Would recommend anyone who wants an easy interface, efficient, high quality, tv experience!

Loading a streaming service takes a fraction of the time it took using cable TV - whether the Firestick can take credit or the broadband I couldn't say.The remote control is simple but contains everything you need and can be set up to turn the TV on. I was surprised that it doesn't automatically go to the Firestick channel if a different one had been previously used (which our games consol does).Unfortunately using this solution doesn't allow for pausing/rewinding/fast forwarding live TV nor for recording it but that is not the Firestick's responsibility. There are also disparaties between the streaming services so we haven't yet found a way to access a TV guide for all of them.After I'd paid full price for this my son found it half price elsewhere which surprised me.

I can even download and install other streaming apps and add them to my favorites. I can customize which apps appear on top of my favorites and the order in which they appear. I can control the TV volume also. This Firestick is great!

This thing is incredibly slow. I bought the cheaper version for a different TV and a cheaper version downloaded things so quickly would load up apps so quickly this stick which actually cost more. I think it might be the most expensive one is so incredibly slow. It takes forever to download an app. It takes forever to upload the app and it’s constantly having to buffer Supposed live streams. The other cheaper fire stick has none of these issues, same channels, same apps as I am writing this watching a live stream, it has stopped to buffer four times already again. I have the lesser fire stick on TVs further away from my router and they have no issues.

I have had most kinds of streamer device over the years and this one is pretty good.The Good stuff:It is excellent for streaming Amazon sourced material, prime and purchased. The sound quality is very very good and probably the best I have heard. Picture quality is as good as other top-end devices.Amazon music is delivered in about the best quality you can get (provided you are feeding the audio into a surround sound system via HDMI) and delivers both Amazon's UHD (192KHz) and Dolby Atmos tracks. Superb.BBC iPlayer supports UHD on this box! Top marks. Not many do (looking at you Apple TV)The Average Stuff:The included remote feels a bit cheap and creaky. It works fine but just not on a par with the quality of the picture and sound. I would recommend ... This is a good replacement for older firesticks. I like the extra memory which is double that of older firesticks. I also like the addition of the DirecTV button as 1 of the 4 buttons on the bottom of the remote as I use DirecTV as my main streaming app.The only think I don't like is the delayed start-up on these new firesticks. When you start it up I consistently get "No Signal" for around 30 seconds to 1 minute before you can get the menu up. The older firesticks go immediately to the main menu. I'm not sure whey these new versions have the "no signal" delay but I have 2 of these newer firesticks and they both do the same thing. Maybe this is something that will be fixed with a future software upgrade.

I got this on a Black Friday deal for $57, it was in the isle next to the counter. I think this is the best deal in streaming sticks. It was simple to set up, has the services I need, works well with HDMI cec.It’s significantly snappier, more responsive and better up than my Xiaomi Mibox4k plus the HDMIcec works better than the mibox, so far I haven’t really had to wrestle with different remotes to get my Frankenstein of a tv/soundbar/xbox/nintendo set up running, for now it seems to work as expected which did not happen with the mobox.I’ve seen a review here saying they couldn’t get tvnz+ or three now.
