I use to love the fire stick however this is my third one since January. The last fire stick I purchased the remote stopped working a month after I bought it. Which happened with the previous fire stick the remote stopped working. I had to one again download the fire stick app to use on my TV from my phone, however the app only connects to the TV if it is connected on the same Wi-Fi, which is fine. But I am all of a sudden having issues with the app connecting to the fire stick router attached to my TV. I just went ahead and purchased a Roku remote, because I refuse to purchase another one. Also, there are known issues reported with the remote all of a sudden stop working, and the performance degrading over time.

Purchased during special offer. Prompt despatch and helpful Seller. This version comes with a US two prong wall plug so you will need a UK three prong adapter, otherwise quite straightforward to install. However, patience is needed for all the various passwords and permissions! When you get past this it works very smoothly.

THIS FIRE STICK WAS A LIFESAVER FOR ME. I COULD NOT GET NETFLIX ON MY SMART TV. I AM A SENIOR FEMALE AND SPENT MANY HOURS ON THE PHONE TRYING TO FIND OUT THE REASON. I FINALLY LEARNED THAT THE SOFTWARE ON MY SMART TV NEEDED UPDATED. TO UPDATE, I NEEDED TO PURCHASE A FLASH DRIVE TO DOWNLOAD THE NEW SOFTWARE. I STOPPED AT YOUR STORE TO PURCHASE A FLASH DRIVE AND WHILE THERE DISCUSSED MY PROBLEM WITH ONE OF YOUR EMPLOYEES. HE SUGGESTED I PURCHASE A FIRE TV STICK LITE WHICH I DID. HOORAY, IT WAS A SIMPLE MATTER TO CONNECT IT TO MY TV AND I NOW GET NETFLIX WITHOUT GOING THROUGH ALL THE STEPSNEEEDED TO INSTALL THE SOFTWARE. I AM ALSO GRATEFUL TO YOUR EMPLOYEE WHO HELPED ME.
It is an absolutely basic tool, they should remove it from the market and leave only the one that also allows you to control the volume. It is the era of automation, offering a product that provides a half-solution is useless, inefficient, crude, rude. The price should not define the quality of the tool, the benefits, the versatility. At the time of purchasing I did not notice that detail and I grabbed the first one I saw since I had already had it before and both had built-in volume so I considered that to be a fact. Now I have a tool in a corner because as a practical solution it is really terrible.
I needed access to Amazon Prime from a large TV with USB port but no "smarts". The house has complete wifi coverage. the Fire Stick Lite needed only a USB to connect and the credential to access the wifi network. Amazon Prime and other included services are easy to access using the Fire remote. Performance has been excellent in terms of picture quality and lack of hiccups seen with the cable connection sometimes. Switching the TV from the USB HDMI source back to the cable source disables the Fire "Anynet+" connection, so no Amazon connection is active when you do not need it. The Fire Stick Lite version provides what I need for less than than full feature Fire Stick.
First of all, I rarely review any item good or bad but this is such a great product I had to share my thoughts. LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS Fire Stick!!!! I have had several TV boxes in the past and none compare. Actually just sent one back yesterday. This is so user friendly – no goofing around with downloading content from repositories needing to make sure you have the URL correct. Eliminates the guess work. Excellent speed test results even with using tablets at the same time
The Amazon Fire Stick has transformed my TV into a powerhouse of entertainment. The setup was a breeze, and the user-friendly interface makes navigation seamless. Streaming in high definition is a treat, and the vast selection of apps ensures there's always something to watch. The voice remote is a game-changer, allowing quick searches and easy control. Regular updates keep the device running smoothly. Whether it's movies, shows, or music, the Fire Stick delivers on all fronts. It's a must-have for anyone looking to elevate their TV experience.
