On the hardware side it delivers what promised. I can only mention that ray tracing is so much slower than years old NVIDIA GPUs had, but that is hardly a big news. Thermal management is good. It can run continuously a 120W load without significant throttling or overheating. On the software side it has its own can of worms, like any other competitor. Be sure to check what you need. My primary use for this card is running Adobe PS and LR with 30bit color depth on Windows inside a VM; it fits. There is not a lot single slot (a big factor for me) alternatives around there. What downsides I found:1. AMD Pro driver seems to fight with Windows Update and sometimes gets partially reverted to Adrenalin and may not work properly after that. So keep watching for it.2. ... MoreOn the hardware side it delivers what promised. I can only mention that ray tracing is so much slower than years old NVIDIA GPUs had, but that is hardly a big news. Windows driver requires hiding Hv identity inside VM. A spit in customer's face that only NVIDIA was previously known to do. AMD learns from the best.3. On Linux, ROCm platform works so-so, as with most other models. OpenCL performance is half of what you get on Windows. Versions newer (not older!) than 5.7 just fail. There is no confidence anything will work tomorrow.
