I’ve tried them all, pomades, gels, mousse, etc and this products is the perfect combination of all of them without the side effects. It has a hold that doesn’t make my hair stiff or look wet. Best of all, it doesn’t flake. It does leave.a little bit of a mild, oily residue but it is so light that only I notice it. It’s not enough to even rub off on clothes or pillows. I no longer worry about someone running their fingers through my hair. I get to actually enjoy that again.

American crew is a really great product and works exactly as advertised. Its smooth and rich in texture and leaves your hair a little crunchy while firmly holding hair in place.. but it's just to expensive. I can get the same quality hair care If not less from a local grocery store for 75% less. I would use this product all the time, I just wish it was more affordable. I recommend this product for a high quality salon product that works! 👌

It's like most high end hair styling products. It does what it says it should. I use a pea size blob, a bit of water to emulsify and run through my hair prior to going in with a hair-dryer. Great volume for a high pony tail or any up-do. My son uses it to slick back his hair. Pure gel, no water. There's the usual tacky residue on your hands, brushes and combs. Wash brushes and combs using a little shampoo and you're ready for the next day.

I have many reasons for enjoying this product!! It’s a nice strong hold on wet hair! But if you use too much it will give you that wet look when your done. HOWEVER; I love using it on wet or damp hair! If you use it on wet hair you get a light hold, use it on damn, and you get medium hold, or dry hair is firm hold! Nice tool to use all around!

Ive been using other products from the range for a long time, namely Forming Cream, Defining Paste and Pomade. They are all of course a bit different.This one is more creamy as per the product name than those others Ive mentioned. It goes on easily and has a light scent. You wont get a rocksolid hold but often thats not needed. It can hold a fringequiff in a fairly defined state and seems to last. For me its greatly preferable to gel which sometimes flakes andor is sticky and which can look crusty.I also liked that it conditions your hair when you use it. Ive been pleased with the styleeffect it gives when used and will continue to use it, alternating with other products from the range that I also have.

I called your main office and left a message. The two tubes were different sizes. One was two inches shorter than the other. The shorter tube had approx. two fewer inches of gel compared to the other. It looks as if the shorter tube with less gel was used. There is something wrong with this order.

The product works well for me and has for a long time. The packaging was not able to contain product during shipping. The product was shipped after taping the individual lids shut and then combining two tubes at a time in plastic bags. Then, all was put into a flexible shipping envelop. One of the tubes was mashed enough to leak but the plastic bag contained the spill fortunately. So maybe better packaging is required.

It works

I use it on dry to semi-dry hair. I run my fingers through the top of my head, then palm it along the sides to flatten the sides giving a more tapered look. It works like a charm and holds up pretty well in strong winds. After a good wind throws my hair around, I just use a brush or my fingers to get the look back.The downside is this product leaves a white sticky residue on your hands that you must wash off after application.
