What I like about this product is that it tends to sit in the hair naturally and style is maintained for most of the day despite how much action your hair gets. I have short to medium length hair and it doesn’t dry hard and still has some natural movement which I like. Would recommend and is one of the better matte clays I have used. ATC, delivery quick and always on point.

One of the best things i love about this clay is the creamy consistency, and smell ..This clay gives great texture and and washes out super nice and not heavy .. of you have short hair this is more ideal..If you pair it with a good pre styler like the matte clay spray . The hold becomes greater ..

Having used pomade for most of my life I decided to give a clay a try. The first thing I notice is the pleasant smell. The product is flaky but when rubbed into your hands it forms a nice consistent paste. It makes the hair have volume and is very easy to style. Love this

Was looking for an alternative to Claymation and this did the job.Easy scoop and applies nicely with a good scent. Washes out easily which is a plus (maybe not so in the rain). The hold was decent but definitely not as strong as Claymation and wasn't as matte as I would like. Overall, I would consider purchasing again if my usual products were unavailable.Thanks ATC
American Crew Matte Clay - I've been using American Crew for more than 10 years, the Matte Clay is perfect for men or woman who have short hair with a fade. It provides texture and definition without it looking greasy or you've got put too much product in your hair. I'd using sparingly to start and add more if you feel the style needs it. Its also not waxy at all, so when its time to wash out it, it comes out really easy. Highly recommend
Have been using AC Matte for the past week and very pleased. Easy too apply, and also to wash out. No clumping or residue. Hint add a touch of clear gel and rub into palm of hands with AC and apply to damp hair. Ensures good styling with no sticky residue.
