Have just returned from overseas after having used this fantastic American Tourister case to avoid check in baggage and it was perfect. Light weight. Fits in overhead locker without any problems. Internal dimensions are excellent for a 55cm case. Accommodated enough clothing, an alternate pair of shoes and toiletries for a two weeks holiday in Europe with room to spare. Spinner wheels are superb - not sure how they would fare on cobbled paths. Used the handle to slip my handbag straps over to keep a hand free. Great little case at a very reasonable price. Would certainly buy this brand again.

I have previously bought 3 of these suitcases in different sizes and they are just the best ! My husband claimed my 71cm case for our next trip hence my purchase of yet another one in this size. I am not a fan of hard cases and travel a lot internationally and I find this size is perfect with plenty of room. This suitcase is one of the lightest you can buy, amazing quality, easy to carry and glides nicely on its wheels. I would definitely recommend and will keep buying this brand.

Purchased this suitcase based on personal recommendations - so easy to move (4 x 2 sets of wheels) and is very light so does not contribute significantly to the luggage allocation. I like the outside zip pockets so you can pack last minute things without opening the whole suitcase (not a new thing I know). I chose purple, hoping it will be easier to track when collecting - this is to be tested! Great price from Myer, good comms re delivery updates, the suitcase had been packed with great care and arrived in excellent condition. A very easy and happy experience from beginning to end. Recommend!

This is the second case we have bought in this size. It is perfect for a couple of days up to a week. It meets international cabin bag size but we generally use it to check in for domestic flights. It’s super practical with the option to extend it out. This latest model has some adjustments which makes it even better - better external pockets and straps. Being on sale just made it even better! Would not hesitate in recommending this or buying another in the future.
This is my second Applite after the original finally outlived its many travelling adventures across the globe. Both my wife and I have this case (different colours) and it is the perfect size for self-guided tripping overseas. Planes, trains and autos, the Applite is easy to manoeuvre your way through transit. The net weight allows us to capitalise on packing while staying under the 20kg limit for most of internal lights throughout Europe. We have other intrepid friends who also swear by the Applite too!
It is light, design seems alright, roomy enough BUT my 2 stars is due to the poor and bad design of the built in luggage lock. Either I ended up with a faulty one where one of the zips do not properly catch the mechanism despite repeatedly pushing it in to help it sit better (either empty or full of items inside the bag) which results to not being able to scramble the number lock. I only found out tonight, the night before I fly, of this flaw and I had intended to give this to my elderly mother. If i struggle with getting this lock to work properly, I can imagine it will be impossible for her. I have had other suitcases (Delsey, etc) and never had this problem.
Largest legal cabin baggage size. It is the lightest spinner case I have ever owned, I spent 30 minutes test driving all of the spinners on the thick carpet at Myer and this one worked best. I have no need for the hard case and prefer to save the weight for contents. Two easily accessible external pockets so I never need to open the main compartment to retrieve items while in transit. All zips run smoothly, handles feel sturdy. I love the sedate grey with red trim, it looks like quality. I hope to get two years out of this as I use my case for work travelling 4 days a week and walk about 200km a year with it.
Absolutely love my new carryon luggage. It’s is lightweight and extremely easy to handle. Fantastic rollers and pull up handle makes moving along with this beaut nifty little suitcase an absolute breeze.Waited a while to decide on a carryon but am super satisfied with this choice. The size is not only good for cabin, but also smaller planes (allowing sub 50cm cabin bags) or when the only place left to stash the bag is under the seat in front (because all overhead storage is full to overflowing or because you were the last one to get in the plane...). The weight of the bag I received was slightly below the advertised weight (with tags removed) - so it's not just bs marketing talk. The notebook compartment not only holds my 15.6" notebook (as specified) but it's positioned cleverly at the very front and directly under the zip. The size and weight of the bag do mean that it can easily be a 1-bag overnight or 2-night solution (if you are a pro packer and it's not winter), OR, complement your check-in with a 1-set spare in case the check-in baggage ends up 5000 miles away from you. My only 2 not-so-happy issues are: a) the wheels are a bit loud, and b) the handle does not telescope and lock that well. But at the price and for the rest of the positives, I can live with them. Unless I missed some other bags in my search, you will not find these features in such a bag even if you spent 2x more.
This 71cm eco spinner completed my set. Excellent wheels, easy navigation. Great colour, nice yellow accent. Soft and light. Everything you want in a soft suitcase. Interior is roomy. Elastic clip band to minimise movement and a single large zipper pocket on the opening interior. Outside pockets are a decent size for those last minute items or travel docs for ease of access. Can't go wrong with this range of suitcases.
