Great little suitcase - nice and light for solo travel, with a fairly unique design that makes it easy to spot in large groups or on a luggage carousel. Was slightly thinner than expected, but the case is taller and wider to accommodate the smaller depth of the case, and one side can expand as well.The interior components (i.e. the straps, divider etc) are all decent quality, but the exterior shell is prone to scratching as the plastic is a little soft/flexible. The upside of this is that the case is unlikely to crack or dent if dropped (as the material has some "give" to absorb any impacts), however this does mean the case starts to scuff right away, even on fairly short trips. If this bothers you, I'd recommend avoiding the pastel colours.

This luggage managed to fit so much in it was unbelievable. Was really lightweight too and had no issues when transferring at airport. So good in fact I may purchase another one for my children.

Bought at the end of Jan. Went away in the car for w/end. Case's first journey. Case went from car to hotel then back in car at end of w/end. All the bottom of the case broken! I have to pay to send it to service centre! Not even a month old. Very disappointed customer! Won't be buying another American Tourister having had 2 before! Will stick to Samsonite!
I had this case less than 2 weeks when I went to Suffolk for w/end. Case went from house to car to hotel. Then I noticed it was broken at the bottom. Emailed AT & they said I could send it to the service centre down south at my own expense!! Thought these things were guaranteed ! I was going to India the following w/end so had to go out & but another case, so bought Samsonite & it's been brilliant! Have 2 older AT suitcases so thought I'd be ok but what a waste of over £100!! Now a Samsonite fan!
Had one outing on a train and seriously scratched, despite only sitting on the overhead rack. Customer Services have said this is normal wear and tear! Not acceptable IMO. Buyers beware.
I treated myself to this suitcase at it looked so fancy on the picture. It really does look great and I love how easily it can be pushed and pulled. However, something incredibly happened on my second time using it. The suitcase slipped out of my hand and fell down a very long set of stone steps at an airport. It was terrible! My laptop without a case was inside. The suitcase wasn't very full so there wasn't much padding for the laptop. I expected it to be in pieces but when I had a look nothing had happened to it! It was so well protected by the suitcase, which doesn't even have a scratch or dent after this! This incident made me take time for this review as I'm so pleased to have invested in it. Amazing quality and looks! I highly recommend it!
The luggage is much smaller than I expected but in any case the stitching on the side ripped off after using it just on the third time. Considering the cost I was expecting much higher durability.
Well designed cabin bag. Tough polypropylene shell with smooth zips and 3mm expansion make this a versatile and efficient 55x40x20/23 bag. Useful internal pockets and elasticated retaining straps on both halves make this good value and more than a basic specification. Design suitable for all ages and genders. i am OBSESSED with the colour of this suitcase. it's it's gorgeous. it stands out. it makes me happy.the suitcase itself is light, feels well built, and didn't scratch after my first trip, which is already an accomplishment lol. love that it's extendable. love the whole thing.
