The Amiibo Mario figure lets you bring the iconic hero to life with your Nintendo Wii U. Star of the best-selling gaming franchise of all time, Mario has appeared in over 200 games since the early 1980s - not bad for pudgy plumber! Capable of amazing jumps and famous for his driving skills, he's always ready to step in and save Princess Peach. Amiibo features teleport technology so you can interact with your favourite Nintendo characters and games. When an Amiibo is placed on the GamePad, that character will be brought into the game. Players can either watch the character battle other characters, battle alongside the character, or battle against the character. The more the Amiibo is played in game, the more it levels up, unlocking different moves, equipment and customization options. They will also level up faster when pitted against other Amiibo fighters. Data on the chip will be transferred into the game and used in a range of ways. As you play, your figure's data will also be updated, so keep playing to make your Amiibo unique! Other Amiibo characters already announced include Yoshi, Link, Pikachu, Donkey Kong and many more (available separately). In addition to Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, you'll be able to use Amiibo in a number of other games, and how they're used depends on the game.
