I have ordered almost all of the Amoena wire free line trying to find a bra that will work for me. I like this bra, it's not pretty but it works. I think it would be nicer if they used the fabric from the Mona bra. It has great privacy coverage. Also, it keeps me from spilling over when I bend over avoiding the dreaded "bar wench" look. I think it runs a little small so if you're in between, order up. I have two issues with this bra. It chafes. I'm not sure if the arm holes need to be lower but it rubs that little fat pad in front of my arm pit when I reach across so I can't wear it all day. Also, I've never had a bra that emphasizes back fat and I'm not overweight. I didn't realize how much I had until I wore this bra. Although this is a "mastectomy" bra, it passes for a non--post surgery bra because the center and sides are low and it isn't bulky. The styling is simple and the quality is excellent. I use this with two slightly different size inserts (because, like many women, I myself am a little uneven). The shape of the cups is round and youthful and with little silicone inserts I am now even and have a little cleavage for the first time in my life. I have never had as good a fit -or as much comfort -- from any non-mastectomy padded bra as I do from this one. I love that you can customize by using the size and shape of silicone inserts that are just right for you. The cups run large and I wish Amoena offered this in a 30A -- then it would be perfect.

These mastectomy bras are the most comfortable that I’ve worn ever I’m now on my second lot of new ones. They look great under T-shirts with no lumps or bumps showing ever! I’ve been wearing this style for over 10 years and feel so great and confident wearing them all the time! The price is very reasonable too and Myer also give me a special receipt for my health fund so I can claim back on my extras! Can’t get any better than that!!

This bra is lightly padded which makes excellent mastectomy bra. I have always had problem balancing both sides as I had 1 side of my breast removed. Its difficult to balance if i need to add the padding on one side and breast form on the other.
Lara is one of the first bras that I had purchased after my surgery, and I absolutely love it! I love the Mara style as well, but the decoration in the middle of this bra is slightly cuter in my opinion. I have it in nude, and I will definitely order more in the future. Simple bra, but nice, and it is not visible under my tshirts.
Seriously, does anyone who needs a size "D" cup, need 3/8 " padding in the cup? I would need to purchase larger tops in order to wear it. I really liked the style and a relative, who is much smaller in her bust, wears it so I wanted to try it. Even though due to a lymphpectomy, I a 1/2 a cup smaller on one side, no way would I want to add anything else to that side. I may try to order a plain bra sometime if it looks like there is maybe two layers of fabric.
Another lovely Lara bra. I have the Lara Satin version already. Although this is a cheaper version, it nevertheless fits as well as the satin ones
