Epic is gigantic, a big, big love for me! One of my signature scent for over a decade, and that should says everything! The spices are nearly devoid of sweetness although there is the most fleeting of citrus and berry notes in the first few seconds that keep the top notes from being impossibly dry. Very well blended, so somehow what could have been a complete mess instead, achieves coherence and beauty! The incense is among the first notes to come up and it adds a dark smoky accord, then the pink pepper, cardamom, cumin and all the other spicy notes that closely follows the incense are not completely distinguishable among them but they create a warm, aromatic and welcoming spicy accord. Then comes a few moments of magic as the heart notes arrive with a minty, green geranium showing up out of nowhere to provide a cool breeze before the myrrh appears to hint at the base and it's oud/incense notes. The patchouli is barely noticeable in the dry down, and are some animalic leather nuances, accented by pronounced, somewhat skanky natural oud and beautiful smokey incense. The leather adds a dry, clean-leather accord; finally, the musk and castoreum act like a boosting note, without making the fragrance pungent or too animalic! This is a very complex yet finely directed orchestra. If you love complexity and understand how to judiciously apply a powerhouse fragrance and to choose appropriate times to wear challenging scents, then Epic Man is as good as it gets! This is an onslaught of spices and resins. It has enough sweetness to stop it from being overly dry, but it doesn't come across like cola or as cloying as fragrances like Full Incense could be. It's like a container full of spices and resins before being lit on fire for the smoke to fill up a church. Actually not that strong, despite the notes. I get maybe 6 hours from it

The smell is strong and may be distracting at office and impair your focus. But very good if you need a long bold manly scent when outside. Projection is a beast.

5-star service all round

Amouage Epic is a fantastic scent. A spicy, woody, leathery vibe with nuclear longevity and a reasonably strong silage (on my skin). 5-star scent. It has to be said Libertine's service is out of this world. Let's be honest, Australia has a mediocre approach where customer service is concerned. Libertine are the benchmark as far as I'm concerned. Fast service, great comms, quick delivery and amazing samples along with the Amouage. I'm a repeat customer from here. Thanks, Libertine. Great

This is a great perfume. The first time I smelled it I felt a strong incense note, but the next day I started feeling the whole gamma- bergamot for a start, incense and resins, a woody touch for the last hours. It's not a lasting aroma- half a day to get to feeling the base notes slightly and I have had much longer lasting perfumes, but this is an aroma that gives a feeling of high class.

My favorite Amouage

When it comes to Amoauge I would say that Epic Man is the most weareable fragrance after Reflection Man. If you’re into fragrances you already know that Amouage is one of the best fragrance houses on the planet, they use the best ingredients and the quality of juice is second to none. I know they are not cheap, but it is worth every cent. I’m not going to go into how this smells, there are plenty of reviews online that you can go and check out. I personally believe that Epic Man is a blind-buy worthy fragrance if you are over 25 and want to smell like a man who wants to be taken seriously. This is not a sweet fragrance and it’s not for boys.

Simply put, Amouage is... well Amouage!

This is strong! Let me start by saying that 1 to 2 sprays lasts the whole day and it "sticks" to your clothes. I love a spray that is not overwhelming but I get compliments from old ladies to the young girls wanting to know what I am wearing. It makes itself known and its complex smell lets people know you are sophisticated and know what you are doing.

Sublime

This was my first ever purchase from here. Epic Man is dense and sophisticated scent for winter. Longevity, projection and sillage is just amazing. I got a lot of samples from Libertine too. The beer presentation ever by am online store. I’m writing this review almost one year after my purchase but I can never forget the experience of receiving it.

a unique and bold experience

This is a great rainy day scent. It’s excellent craftsmanship and superbly blended with oud, incense and musk and the castoreum. It is definitely strong opening that settles into a beautiful animalistic and incense journey. It reminds me of me of Prada’s L’Homme.
