It is on the heavy side while at the same time avoiding being cloying and indeed is clean cut, playing a fantastic dry tobacco off the spicy sichuan pepper, contrasting smoldering incense with crisp juniper, and offsetting sharp cypriol and bergamot with rich leather. The incense is lighter than what you get from the usual Amouage DNA. After a good period of predominantly smooth tobacco, traces of incense, dry cypriol and other leathery notes, touches of coumarin, rich tonka and musks round out and finish the scent that will definitely make your significant other want to get very close. It may be a bit too rich and spicy as a daily office fragrance but that's a personal decision. Definitely more masculine-leaning, but anybody with confidence could pull this off. Performance is stellar, easily 10+ hours and great projection and silage for a good 4+ hours. The most amazing scent! Starts off like a bitter grapefruit dipped in maple syrup, then turns into nutty woody amber sweetened with honey with an echo of white flowers and incense in the background. This one is hard to describe because it is so complex yet so well blended. But you will smell classy, expensive and totally different than everyone around you. It’s a masterpiece, best for colder weather. The bottle is stunning as well, heavy thick sapphire glass with magnetic cap golden dome cap. It’s pricy but so worth it, a little goes a long way and lasts forever.

Amouage is my favorite house if you want to smell unique, scream luxury and show others what oriental fragrance means. Many of their offerings are “not standard” for western “nose palate” and this is exactly why I love them because you will smell different than others 100%, cause every time you wear Amouage frag you are giving your surroundings a statement you are daring, powerful and makes you feel really like a royal. I knew I’m about to test Amouage so I was careful with an initial spray! And it was a love at first sniff. Very strong and intense smell will cover you like a spicy bubble for about 15 minutes then Juniper berries and incense will start introducing them selfs. Fragrance screams for 2-3 hours very intensively so 2 sprays is really more than enough. As the fragrance settle main player continues to be pepper coupled with cardamon and cypriol. Overall Journey Man is ULTRA SUPER masculine fragrance, well dressed, mature intelligent guy going out with a girl to expensive restaurant in autumn/winter. Journey Man has similar intense/longllasting projection as Interlude Man and this is for sure a “Red beast”. Longevity is for me 10+ hours and sillage is massive. For me 10/10, sits in TOP3 most favorite Amouages and happy to be a proud owner of this amazingly looking bottle with top quality oriental juice! Excelent creation worth the money!

To achieve its complex layers it moves through some rather challenging musky low animalistic notes, before the rest emerges with its sensuous spicy top notes.I've found it needs 1/2 hour to mature to something splendid.Layering it through the day works well, even though it is strong, because the settling musk with your own body chemistry/scent is what gives this perfume its powerful kick. Jubilation 25 is a Jubilation indeed!

This scent is an exaltation of joy elegantly proclaimed with transparent rose. Rich fragrance that lingers all day

I love this as a signature fragrance that's heady with layers of depth. On me it starts off with a strong white floral before settling into a lingering musk that sticks close to the skin. It's giving Joan Collins/Diahann Carol on Dynasty vibes.It's not for everyone for sure but I get compliments from strangers every time I'm wearing it (no matter what city I'm in). Especially get comments when paired with a resin/amber body wash.
