After all the hot weather we had and my snake only just getting big enough for the larger enclosure, I didn't have any heat lamps when the sudden cool down occurred.I have heat mats, but I wanted the lamps for the coming winter anyway.Snake loved the warn up those first few days. It's warm again so I'm keeping the lamps aside for the cooler weather, hope they don't blow as easily as some past brands have
