We have had to replace our coffee canisters with something durable yet functional. These canisters fit the bill perfectly! The glass is clear and the lids are nicely crafted with a sturdy plastic seal. Nice addition to your coffee bar.....or can be used for dog treats or any other cabinet storage....

I recently decided to purchase a number of the Montana jars in various sizes. They're great storage jars and look fabulous whether sitting on the kitchen counter or the pantry shelf. The seals do a great job of keeping things fresh. My only complaint is that the small jar is available only online. The first one that I ordered had significant blemishes on the lid. Returned it to the store and ordered the replacement. They were kind enough to waive the second shipping fee. While the second is better, I'm still not 100% pleased with the lid; but I'm keeping it. It's much nicer being able to pick them out at the store.

This jar is great! It has an airtight seal and a wide mouth. I use it as a cookie jar. The clear glass is nice because I can see when I need to refill it and the wood top makes it attractive enough to leave on my counter.

I find these canisters absolutely stunning. I'm moving and going for a natural earthy vibe in my new kitchen and these are perfect for that, with a nice modern/minimal touch because of the glass body. I haven't used them yet but they appear very sturdy and are huge. I purchased the mid-sized one to store tea bags and it holds so much more than I expected (I tested it out). Can't wait to see them in my pantry shelf! I can see these being used for so many purposes like storing laundry powder or in the bathroom for bath bombs, cotton, etc.
It was pure luck that Canadian Tire just started carrying the Anchor Hocking Montana jars when I was shopping around for them. Compared to a couple of other suppliers I found, Canadian Tire's cost is far less expensive. These jars look fantastic on my countertop, especially with the custom labels I made. In addition to their lovely look, the acacia wood lids have an airtight silicone seal; you can hear the air being pushed out as you press down on the lid. Very happy that I was able to clear packages of lentils, quinoa, etc. from my cupboards. Hoping Anchor Hocking adds a tall, slender jar to this collection for storing fettuccine and spaghetti.
These are lovely storage containers for my dry goods. I have two of the 2 quart size. The seal on one is really tight, the other is a little loose. I love that the opening at the top is wide enough to easily scoop the contents out. I do worry if you needed to store things long term they might get stale, but we go through our flour and rice pretty quickly. The two quart size holds a 5 pound bag of flour. I like the way they look too, and feel better about not using plastic bins.

But the defective one has a lid a MUCH lighter color than the others on top and mostly one solid color. And the top of the defective jar is slanted. I had planned to stack the canisters 2/2 but unfortunately you cannot stack the same size canisters on top of each other as in one of the C&B pictures and you can't stack anything on top of the defective/slanted one. I love them enough that I bought other canisters that would stack with these. But the defective one cannot be used with the others due to the slanted top and very different color. I have two of the three-quart jars- one for cat food and one for dog food. They look so much tidier than having the bag of food out on the counter. They seal well, and I feel better about the glass than storing my pets' food in plastic containers; plus, they're very nice w/ the wood.
We got this for our nespresso pods and a larger version for cereal. My husband says it keeps his cereal fresh. Whenever you open the jar, you hear and feel the seal un-sealing. The wood lid on the jar is very handsome and easy to open. It has a slight sheen to it. I would go to the store to pick out the jars if possible bc some of the jar lids are lighter in color than others or have different wood variations.As for sizing, the large jar was a little large for one cereal box but the next one smaller would prob have been too tight a fit.
The Montana 48-Oz. Small Acacia and Glass Jar has quickly become one of my favorite storage pieces in the kitchen! The clear glass jar makes it easy to see what’s inside (perfect for my coffee beans and granola), and the acacia wood lid adds such a nice, warm touch to my countertop.
