As of this month (January, 2023), I have been using this product daily for a year. Since I had joint stiffness in my hips and shoulders, thinning hair, and more wrinkles than I cared to see, I decided to try it for its touted benefits. After 12 months of daily use, I can say that my hair and skin look no different than before starting the collagen, so those benefits never materialized for me. I will admit that after I opened the first cannister for the first time and mixed the collagen in water, that I almost did not ever use it again! It seems that there is likely not a consistent percentage of ingredients in the cannister. If you didn't understand, the smell and taste of cow hide was disgusting and overwhelming! When mixed in a strong flavored juice drink it was almost tolerable. The collagen dissolves well when first opened but over time gets a little gummier. I now mix the collagen with fiber since neither is delicious. The second cannister had a much more pleasant smell and taste. I have not yet opened the third. The cannister is not one that you would call environmentally friendly as it is double the size of the contents. I definitely do recommend this product, but it depends on what you want it for. If for only skin, hair, and nails, you don't need all of the types of collagen offered in Dr Axe Ancient Nutrition.

Hello! I love mixing the unflavored version in my coffee with half and half. Still can tell it is in my coffee but absolutely tolerable.The vanilla. Oye. I have also tried the bone broth protein in salted caramel and have the same feedback. The stevia or whatever the "sweetener" is really comes through to me. I have 2 containers of the Vanilla to use (really great sale on this website) before I can go back to unflavored. I really, really want to enjoy the other flavors. The cucumber flavor is tempting.Beauty within - that one certainly jazzes up my smoothies that I am using the mint greens powder in. I love mixing the unflavored version in my coffee with half and half. Still can tell it is in my coffee but absolutely tolerable.The vanilla. Oye. I have also tried the bone broth protein in salted caramel and have the same feedback. The stevia or whatever the "sweetener" is really comes through to me. I have 2 containers of the Vanilla to use (really great sale on this website) before I can go back to unflavored. I really, really want to enjoy the other flavors. The cucumber flavor is tempting.Beauty within - that one certainly jazzes up my smoothies that I am using the mint greens powder in. Perhaps I can add some vanilla multi collagen powder in to burn through my supply. I will most likely try adding the vanilla to some protein balls.
