Washing & Care Instructions Hand Wash Method ( Recommended) Add mild liquid detergent to a tub/basin of cold water (<30 degrees) Gently agitate your silk & soak for 5-10 mins (Important: Do not soak longer than 30mins) Rinse with cold water and soak for another 5-10 mins to get rid of the detergent Optional: Add one tablespoon of white vinegar (per one litre of water), ensuring to rinse out after. The vinegar helps to remove the soap, and restores and softens the silk. Machine Wash (If you prefer) Put your silk pillowcase into a laundry bag Wash separately on delicate cycle Use mild liquid detergent (Ph neutral, avoid bleach) Remove from the washing machine promptly after cycle to dry. How to Dry & Store Silk After washing you can fold your silk and gently press the excess water out (Important: Do NOT wring/twist) Next, place the silk on a clean towel and roll it up to soak up the remaining water. Now, you can allow to air dry, away from direct sunlight. If you do want to iron it, do so by ironing inside out when it is dry on low heat. To store, keep in a cool, dark, and dry environment in a breathable bag.
