Angel Nova Eau De Parfum Refillable Spray by Thierry Mugler - 100 ml

I was told that Mugler fragrances really change depending on your body chemistry, so you must try them on skin before you buy them. So one day I went to Ulta to try all 4 of their Mugler fragrances (this, Alien, Angel, and Alien Goddess) on to see which one(s) worked for me, and this one is the one that “chose” me. The difference in how it smells on a test paper vs on my skin is striking. It gets very sweet and “warm” for a lack of better word. It smells very friendly (what does that even mean? I don’t know) and it makes me happy just to catch a whiff of it. However once I wore it to my mom’s house and she HATED it on me. She was absolutely disgusted by it and demanded I wash it off. I received this as a gift last year for Christmas after smelling it in Sephora and was blown away with the various berry notes in particular the strong Raspberry and Lychee notes and decided I needed it in my life (plus the bottle is super gorgeous in my opinion, and refillable!). I will say this perfume is STRONG, my mother also owns a bottle after smelling it on me and you can easily smell anyone wearing this a mile away if you spray more than twice on yourself. Unfortunately for me if I spray this scent on me more than once it’s the only perfume in my collection that will induce a headache with its strength but I also love that one spray will do the job (one spray will last a whole day on me!) so that my bottle will last forever. I can attest to the vividness of Nova, it is stunningly vivid, both words can go either way depending on a love or a dislike of this fragrance. This is one that very easily can wear you, instead of you wearing it, or both intertwined in my case ! She can own me, and that's fine with me. A wet, fresh, sweet and tart smashed raspberry, muddled with the most exuberant rose, and sweet litchi reminiscent of strawberry and watermelon to concoct an intoxicating fragrant cocktail. Tingles of pepper,at times I can detect a suggestion of fire from the peppery wood and resin. Nova doesn't seem to share any notes with Bombshell , yet it reminds me some. Benzoin resin grants a vanilla cola blended in the dry down, but don't get me wrong as this fragrance never loses the fruit, wood, and roses. It never subdues. The striking, intense lively quality lives on through an entire wearing. I recently came upon a comment on an FB thread of someone asking for a free sample of Mugler Angel Nova as she is prone to migraines, perfumes are often too strong, and assault her senses. To her, and ones of such sensitivities I would say " Yes! Sample first! " , or respectfully " Lady, this isn't for you ". Does it resemble the original Angel ? No , but I'll say , as I've said with any Mugler frag, and most likely always will - any notes shared in Mugler scents are recognizable as " Mugler Notes ". Sillage can be high high high. Longevity is a lifetime. 10/10 for me. I've had Mugler's Angel Nova on my wishlist for quite a while and I'm so happy I finally added it to my collection! Angel Nova is a sparkly and feminine scent with tones of Raspberry, Roses and wood which is particularly suitable to wear during the spring and summer months. It has a light, subtle floral and slightly sweet fragrance with a hint of sparkling citrus and it's suitable for everyday wear, weither you're going shopping with friends or spending the day working. In my opinion, the scent has a young vibe and it makes me think of carefree days, spending time with friends in a park or a blooming rose garden. I would describe this scent as youthful, confident, playful. This scent is unique. This fragrance has a long lasting scent so I can even smell it the next day until I shower the next day of course. The scent is strong so if u don't like a perfume thats too strong then this may not be for u, it's not overly strong but I know some people prefer a subtle smelling perfume therefore this may be too strong for someone with that preference. Based on the notes, I thought this might be another Delina copycat. To my pleasant surprise it was most definitely not. It opens with blast of lychee and bergamot (some of my absolute favorite notes) and then develops into a soft rose and magnolia scent. It has the lasting power of about 3 hours, typical of an eau de toilette, and the dry down remains mainly a musk and cedar blend that has an airy quality to it. If you were hoping this to be a Delina dupe, you might be disappointed but I find it to be quite the pleasing rose scent. It is not overpowering in the floral department. Instead, it is a nice rather light fruity rose fragrance that would be inoffensive in any setting. The Angel Nova Eau de Toilette is a fruity, floral scent from the House of Mugler. It has notes of sweet rose, fresh Bergamot, and spicy Cedar Wood. This is a lighter version of the Angel Nova Eau de Parfum. Eau de Toilettes are known to be lighter and less intense than of an Eau de Parfum. I recently became known to the Mugler fragrances as he is known for his ?out of this world? bottle designs and fragrances. Normally, I am a fan of gourmand and cozy and/or fresh scents. I like fragrances that have a strong performance throughout the day and isn?t too overbearing for everyday or work wear. Even though this scent is an EDT (Eau de Toilette), I tested this fragrance on my clothes. Even though it has a star design, it has a stable bottom so that it can easily set on a dresser or table without falling over. All in all, I really enjoy this fragrance from the House of Mugler called Angel Nova. I think it is a safe buy if a person is neutral about cedarwood as it does leave a woodsy aura to the perfume. I think the berry and rose notes are blended beautifully in this perfume, and I believe that this perfume would be best suited for spring/summer days. I would highly recommend this fragrance to my family and friends.

I highly agree with the statement this is a super feminine fragrance, it instantly created a rich and delicious smell.Whats special and stands out about Angel Nova is the top notes of juicy raspberry, litchi, bergamot, rose, magnolia, and Virginia cedar. Most importantly Akigalawood was used as the base that helps transforms this fragrance to become a long-lasting scent.Upon first spray you get an immediate Indulgent smell of fruity florals and hints of raspberry. As the fragrance sits on the skin you get the warm essence of the rose and Akigalawood. This will last you all day into the night.My Quick tip:To make my perfumes last all day into the night I apply a pea size amount of Vaseline where you normally spray (wrist, and neck) The reasoning behind this is when perfumes are applied to dry skin they tends to dry out quickly. Making a perfumes wear time shorter and won?t last as long. Compared to applying perfume on hydrated skin allowing it to adhere and stay locked in on the skin!Everything about this perfume is absolutely beautiful. It?s bottled into a sleek and luxurious pink glass star. This is most certainly aesthetically pleasing, and perfect to display in your bedroom or restroom. I personally have it displayed on a glass tier in my restroom. If this perfume couldn?t get any better you can refill the bottle! This has easily become my favorite perfume that I gravitate towards. This will be perfume for spring and summer time. ??I highly recommend trying this perfume for yourself (I?d suggest a sample size which you can get at Ulta or Sephora)
