A great charger at a good price!

That means that power isn't subtracted from a port at a certain rate just because you have a device plugged in to another port. It takes into account how much power each device is drawing and only reduces power to other ports based on that. For example, with the 65W model that I purchased, when a device is plugged in to each of the USB-c ports, those devices can draw 65W total between both devices. If my phone is drawing 18W to charge, my laptop can still draw 47W for itself. Without Dynamic Power Distribution, each device would be maxed out at 32.5W each. This charger is perfect for travel! It is half the size, yet twice as powerful as my previous Anker charger as well as having an additional USB-c charging port! It does get warm to the touch even charging something at half the rated output, but never so hot that it is concerning to me even at full load. My Galaxy S22 charges at "Super Fast Charge 2.0" with this charger and my laptop has pulled the full 65W from it. I haven't tested the suction cup support because most of the outlets I use are on power strips.I firmly believe that once again Anker has earned my business with form, function, and price. You will not regret buying this charger!

I personally vouch for Anker as a brand… I’ve had one of their older dual USB charger for well over 5 years now that still works like the day it was ordered.Keep an eye out around holidays, and they’ll likely place it on sale. I lucked up on such a thing myself. The discount on them prior to Christmas was a “50% off in cart”coupon code leaving the cost at roughly $27 after purchase.Details of Charger:The charger’s outlet prongs can be flipped downwards into end of charger. ... MoreThis charger has been extremely reliable; the brand Anker has came a long way. Definitely makes travel carry much easier; however if you are buying just for home use then you’ll be surprised to find a silicone (maybe mixed with TPU) outer case with tiny suction cups all over that helps hold this heavier weighted, well-built charger in the outlet. They don’t mention casing in description for some reason, so the little surprise is cool.(… and no I’m not getting a free item as payment for this courteous review. Haha)

Charger on the go.

I recently purchased the Anker USB C Charger, model 735, and I am extremely impressed with its performance. One of the things that I love most about this charger is that it allows me to pare down and travel with fewer chargers. With its two USB C ports and one standard USB port, I can charge all of my devices with just a single charger. This is incredibly convenient when I am on the go, as it means that I don't have to lug around multiple chargers for my phone, tablet, and other devices. In addition to its convenience, the Anker USB C Charger, model 735, is also an extremely high-quality product. Doesn’t charge Apple Watch…
26 December 2022

Update: Anker reached out to me and sent me an updated product. So far it has been working great!I was hoping this would be the last charger I need to buy for traveling. My goal was to use it to charge my iPhone, iPad, and then lastly Apple Watch via the USB-A port.I charge the watch at night and the USB A port doesn’t work half the time. When it does actually start charging the watch it will stop charging after a few minutes and then restart again which makes the watch vibrate/ding annoyingly especially when trying to sleep. It’s just unreliable especially when you want it to charge when you only have 15 minutes while you shower or something. The usb c ports seem to be more reliable but one night my phone would stop charging and then restart again.I really want ... MoreUpdate: Anker reached out to me and sent me an updated product. I bought this so that I would not have to carry two chargers; one for my iPhone, and another for my MacBook Air. All I need to do is carry two charging cords, and this charger, which is smaller than the charger for my MacBook Air, and I can also plug in a third device if needed. I am often in places when I travel where I may have access to only one outlet, and plugging in two Apple chargers to one outlet can be difficult if not impossible. This solves that problem for me. I especially like the small rubber base that comes with the charger to use on wall outlets, very clever, and it's really very convenient. Great, but maybe a little too long

Like most Anker chargers, this offers an exceptionally high max power that can be distributed efficiently between 3 ports. It's a little disappointing there's not a version that is all three USB-C ports, since that seems to be trending toward the standard, but having at least two USB-C ports is still awesome, especially if you're on-the-go.The only real negative is that it comes with this suction-cup-skirt thing that helps stabilize it when it's the only thing plugged into the outlet. Basically, it's long enough that it would start to sag at the far end, especially as you use more of the ports available, and it wouldn't be safe if the prongs eventually became exposed. And so this weird skirt thing is to help prevent that from happening. So either you must use this by itself, with the skirt, or you need to remove the skirt and have this occupy the top outlet so it can effectively rest on the bottom plug.

This thing is great except for one flaw that a lot of charging product brands seem to keep doing until VERY recently. It only supports 3 amps under PD-PPS.In other words, the Samsung phones take 45 watts by using PD-PPS to get 10 volts, and then taking 4.5 amps.10×4.5=45Since this thing can only do 3 amps max under PPS, this can't happen. It does let both ISB C ports deliver 65 watts, but the top one is prioritized, and if you plug something into the bottom C port and the A port at the same time, they will both throttle, as opposed to the top C port and the A port. It's not a huge deal, but it does mean you have to be cautious about which ports you plug in if you're only using one or two devices, instead of being able to just plug it whatever to whichever port ... MoreThis thing is great except for one flaw that a lot of charging product brands seem to keep doing until VERY recently. It's not a huge deal, but it does mean you have to be cautious about which ports you plug in if you're only using one or two devices, instead of being able to just plug it whatever to whichever port and it just working 100%.Still, it's small, it's handy, and it's extremely high quality. If you're only traveling in your car or to work and back, you might not need this, but if you take regular trips with your laptop this is, IMO, a must have. GaN chargers are vastly smaller and lighter for their charging capability, and this one continues that tradition well so far.For testing, I let my laptop - a 15" HP ENVY x360 run down to nearly empty and then let this charger have a go at bringing it back to full. Not only did it do so happily, it didn't seem to get any warmer than my standard charger, and it can accommodate both my phones as well. Of course, keep in mind that it may not charge your laptop while charging the phones, but that's a given since most laptops require 65W.Given that most OEM chargers are in the same price range, it's still a good ... MoreIf you're only traveling in your car or to work and back, you might not need this, but if you take regular trips with your laptop this is, IMO, a must have. To test, I charged multiple "difficult" devices which typically reject third party chargers, including a 14" Dell Latitude, a 2019 16" Apple Macbook Pro, my HP ENVY, and a Google Pixelbook. They all charged without issue and at normal speed. In short, I recommend this charger for anyone who wants to shed a few pounds - from your bag - and leave a couple chargers at home when traveling.

Another great product from Anker. GaN chargers are the way to go. I like the 3 ports on this and the foldable plug for traveling. Solid charger all the way around. Why the 4 stars instead of 5? I knocked one off because the charger is a bit long and heavy in design so you may need the suction cup stabilizer to keep it in the wall outlet. Some outlets may hold it fine without it though. It's just a lot of weight due to the long design which can leverage the charger out if the socket isn't a very tight fit. I believe they designed it this way so it would not block an outlet or could fit into outlets that would not otherwise take an oversize charger. So the caveat is you should take the little suction cup adapter thingy if you travel just in case.My stand/sit desk at ... MoreAnother great product from Anker. GaN chargers are the way to go. It's just a lot of weight due to the long design which can leverage the charger out if the socket isn't a very tight fit. I believe they designed it this way so it would not block an outlet or could fit into outlets that would not otherwise take an oversize charger. So the caveat is you should take the little suction cup adapter thingy if you travel just in case.My stand/sit desk at home has an outlet on the face of the desk so this charger is great on that because it sits upright as opposed to a wall where it is on its side and has to maintain all its weight via the prongs. Anyway I wouldn't say this should discourage you from trying it. The 735 also looks modern and slick in design. Good job Anker.
