I purchased an Anker Powerline 111 Flow USB C to lightening cable for my iphone 2 years ago, along with an Anker brand charger. Both charger and cord appeared to be good quality.Recently I was not able to charge from the C port and after trying cord with another charger determined the cord was defective.I contacted Anker support and was told that the cord was out of warranty. First by an AI Robot, then with a so called Customer Service Manager.Since the cord is out of warranty they will not replace it. First thing I looked for when I got the cable - Are the Lightning and USB-C connectors straight and perpendicular to the plugs? Yes, perfectly straight. Has a nice, solid, confident snap when plugging the connectors in, too. Not too tight where it feels like it’s stressing the ports, not too loose where it’s unsure if it’s stable. Cable itself is a strong but soft material which is pleasant ergonomically to touch. It allows easy positioning and reshaping out of the box with little resistance. Most other cables rigidly hold their boxed shape. Charging times are the same or better than the stock Apple cable, that is a given. I have been a longtime Anker customer, but I will NEVER purchase another cable. The past SIX PowerLine III Flow USB-C with Lightning Connector cables have failed. The last two were purchased in 11/2021 for $26.99 each. I have been having to “jiggle” each cable to get it to work. There seems to be a problem with the wiring itself near where it connects to the phone. The warranty process itself is cumbersome and more of a “joke”. Rather than continuing to deal with a poor product, I shall purchase some other brand. I regret, that in the past, that I had recommended Anker products and purchased them as gifts. These cables were purchased directly from Anker and not from another supplier.
This is the kind of USB cable that people (even your friends) will prolly steal from you.It just feels high-end. Kinda hard to describe the properties that make it feel that way but as everyone else says it's soft and supple. Silicone.If it was sitting on someone's coffee table someone would pick it up and say something about how nice of a cable it is. I would... and cables have always been a dime-a-dozen to me. Said person would consider taking it.Guard this cable. People that don't care about cables will pick this cable up and consider stealing it.Fast charges my Pixel 5. No hiccups for me with auto-android connection in my vehicle. Streams everything as expected with no issues.Will buy again!
I’ll be the first to admit this is a great looking cable, it feels nice, and doesn’t bend. But after using this only here or there for the past 6 months (I keep it in a loft bedroom that we don’t use that often) it has started having charging issues. My wife and I have no issues charging our phones/iPads on any other devices in the house or car, so we have been able to narrow the issue down to this cable. For the past few weeks every time we try using this charger, it will intermittently stop charging the phone. I only notice when I go to pick up the phone (causing the cable to bend again) and it may/may not resume charging when I move the cable. I have an Otterbox Commuter case for my 11 Pro and after only a few days of use the plastic connector at the top of the charging port broke. I could write this off as the case if it were not for two things. The first being that as soon as I started to use it I could hear a pop every time I disconnect the cable from my phone. The second being that the same thing is happening on my iPad case with the USB-C to USB-C PowerFlow III I purchased. From what I can tell the brass colored metal fitting at the end of the housing catches on the plastic and pulls upon disconnection. So my only gripe is that in my opinion, these cables are responsible for two Otterbox cases becoming damaged and broken to a degree. But that is more of a design flaw as it seems than a cable issue.Overall this is a great cable and I would certainly recommend. Anker is known for making great stuff, and this is no exception. I just wish that issues were not caused with my cases, so beware if you use an Otterbox.

Since I have 2 nanos, I opted for this cable as there is migration toward the USB C. Anyways, I have been using it for several months and it has been sweet to use for my kids.
