PS to Anker: The Bass Boost (UP) option on this device is not needed for any purpose, as the speaker sounds very good without it. When turned on, the speaker struggle to deliver the low frequencies causing a lot of distortion and for some customer this might be dissapointion. My opinion is that for future products, youshould trust on your design and decision, this speaker don't need this option to confuse the users how it sounds better. It already sounds great without it.

Another fine Anker product. I own several of their items, cables, powerbanks, chargers etc. All are finely crafted products. This bluetooth speaker has plenty of sound for what I need. Bluetooth connects up easily to phone, battery power shows % left. Nice little rubber door flap covers the ports. No actual charging unit comes with it, just the cable. You can charge it multiple ways, powerbank, computer usb port or plug into a wall charger. Bass boost is nice if you want it. I use it ocassionally. I never crank it fully up too loud for me. The range I listen in is real nice. Another nicely built product shipped in Anker's usual superb packaging. You almost don't want to ruin the packaging. Fully recommend this product.

I own two Anker speakers. Now the batteries have failed in both of them; they will no longer hold a charge for more than a few minutes, and they both see little use (couple times a month). The first one was replaced as it failed on the last month of the warranty. This speaker was out of warranty by about 2 months so they would not honor the warranty. I would have accepted this response had it not shown to be a known issue with their batteries.I was once a long-time and loyal customer, but will no longer be purchasing Anker products. Clearly they are having issue with quality and don't stand behind their products.I very rarely leave negative reviews but this is clearly a common issue they are ignoring and are just after our money.

The best part is the equalizer app which lets you set the bass to what you like, and it lets you to update speaker firmware. Sound quality suits all my needs and the price as well. One iffy thing is when its paired from android to iOS or back it doesnt connect unless you re-pair again. i got a phone stand that this fits perfectly under the phone as one clean looking package. so the simple design allows for easy placement.
I was skeptical because of no reviews on this speaker but I’m glad I made the decision to buy this one! The deep roaring sound that comes out of this small thing is very loud with clear depth! It will fill a room easily with great quality sound. It does have a mic, I used it as a speaker phone this morning with ease and clarity. It also has power on and power off tones which I think is pretty cool. If you are looking for the best sound for under a $100...this one is definitely that one! I highly recommend this awesome speaker to anyone.
The Anker Soundcore Boost is amazing. It's about the size of a water bottle and sounds like it's the size of a large radio. Having said that, I'm not sure how to rate it. I gave it four stars because it is still no substitute for full size audio systems, I also haven't compared it with all other comparable units. In it's class, the Anker Boost may very well deserve 5 stars. It is perfect for it's intended use. It's very portable, easy to use and convenient. The best part of all is the sound quality. The Soundccore Boost provides enough volume, bass and full-bodied mid-range to make listening to music very enjoyable. You don't feel as though you're being deprived of any element of the performance. If you are an active person and change listening environments ... MoreThe Anker Soundcore Boost is amazing. If you are an active person and change listening environments frequently, You can very conveniently enjoy and share your music anywhere, anytime without feeling major compromise. How great is it to have your entire music library on your phone? You can carry everything in your pocket. I'm impressed. I highly recommend the Anker Soundcore Boost. Compare and decide for yourself. I hope this helps.
In stark contrast to the only review I found on this (paid reviewer?) I am sad to report that I was highly dissatisfied. I was very happy with my previous Anker, the one that was replaced by this one, but it stopped charging. I figured that I would just stick with Anker, but this upgrade turned out to be downgrade. The Soundcore Boost does not get loud enough for me to hear in my semi-truck; it was far lower in volume than its predecessor. After three fully-charged cycles it lasted only 8 hours, four hours less than advertised, and way less than the earlier model. Finally, it would not connect to Bluetooth automatically on power up. I had to manually connect it each time.Returned
Good side:1. Impressive sound quality.2. Bass is satisfactory.3. Battery backup average 5-6hour (Full volume)4. Design is good.5. Best budget product.6. Loud sound. No distraction in full volume. Clear sound.Bad side:1. Not fully waterproof.2. Soundcore apps doesn't support.3. Sound should be more soft.4. No remote control. Conclusion: soundcore boost is better then JBL flip4 and also other brand which is among the 9000tk budget.
This is by far the best speaker for the money - in fact, it's far better than some more expensive speakers. It bangs out a far more impressive sound stage and acoustics than its tiny frame would have you believe. I've sold my UE Boom 2 as its not as good sound as this and it was twice the price. I compared it side by side with the Bose Mini II Soundink (130-150) and it competes ridiculously closely in terms of sound quality, rich bass and volume. The only thing missing is the very top end high notes (the Bose goes up to 21kHz and vs 20kHz) but that's totally acceptable given the price difference. And to top it all off, it doubles as a battery pack to top up your phone if you're out on the move. Just get one! They're ace.
I have the cheaper Select, which I paid around $20 for, and its a great little speaker. It wont knock your socks off, but it produces a lot of sound and sounds good all the way up to its max volume. EVERYONE who ever heard it said wow, thats coming from that little speaker. So I figured at 3x the wattage the Boost would be that much better...but its not. Its VERY bass heavy if you keep the bass boost on and very flat if you take it off. Theres no middle ground. Emphasis was clearly on bass at the cost of mods and highs unfortunately. The Select does a much better job of accurate reproduction, mids and highs are much cleaner, and bass is adequate. Oh, and the Select is waterproof! I love that. Goes in the shower, car wash duty, scooter in the rain, whatever. Stick ... MoreI have the cheaper Select, which I paid around $20 for, and its a great little speaker.
