- Fits nicely with Oakley Flight Deck L goggles- Boa tightener is A+- Fidlock is a game changer if used with thin gloves; requires technique/familiarity if used with thick gloves or mittens- Comfy, airy, lightweight feel- I normally hate wearing anything on my huge head, but this helmet isn't so bad

Quite good adjustments for keeping snug on head using gear at the back; which seems important as the chin strap doesn't get small enough for me. My previous helmet had opening/closing feature on vents that was very useful. I'm a bit concerned this one could be cold even with a beanie on underneath. Otherwise comfortable.

Pros:This helmet is super comfortable. I haven't worn a helmet in 20 years before this one, so comfort was top priority. It's so light that once it's on, I barely notice it on my head. The boa is very comfortable and keeps it secure and snug. The magnetic strap is awesome and easy to use with gloves or mittens. Did not fit well with my older Electric goggles, so I ended up buying some Anon M2 goggles, which fit perfectly.Cons:The ear flaps don't hug the head very much so they don't provide as much warmth as they could if they were tighter or angled in more. The wind noise can also be loud in the ear flaps. Vents cannot be closed, so it can get slightly chilly on cold days. Worn with a thin balaclava underneath is ideal. I was due to replace my helmet after some light hits and opted for the most current safety features. If you plan to wear anything thicker other than a light balaclava or beanie I would go with a larger size. My head circumference was in the middle of the medium size recommendation and with a light beanie I only needed one or two clicks on the boa system to get the right fit. The magnetic clasp is nice an convenient, and ventilation control is great. The ear pads are a bit thick, which muffles sound a bit, and I can’t imagine being able to hear anything if I added audio chips. The shape lines up really nicely with the Anon M3 goggles. I expected the green wavecel material to feel more fluid/ have give like silicone, but it’s actually still quite hard. Just got my order a couple days after I placed my order. The helmet looks amazing and fits great. This is my second helmet ever for snowboarding and I got sized correctly for a medium. Since I just got them haven't had a chance to put them in to action but they feel very sturdy and durable. Looking forward to the 22/23 season! YEWWWW
I've owned this for awhile now and I've had no issues with it. It's super comfortable and I don't feel any hotspots when I wear it all day. I did have to go one size up. I have a very round head and when I tried on a Large size helmet, I was getting hot spots on my head. Going one size up resolved that and the XL helmet doesn't feel big at all. The BOA really helps with fine tuning and making the helmet feel snug on your head. It also fits well with my Anon M4 goggles. Its a very clean look.
Helmet is great! Fits well and feels secure. The air vents on the top do not close so keep that in mind if you're going to be out in very cold temps on the mountain. Probably need to wear a head covering underneath or hood over the helmet on those days. I can definitely feel the cold come in. Otherwise great!
Overall, this really is really a great helmet. I spent a ton of time searching helmets as I haven’t had to buy a new one in some times. Very happy with the fit, comfort, and style of this. I run warm so have no issues with the always open vents on top. Only put a thin balaclava on underneath it once due to below zero temps. Haven’t slammed my head it in so can’t speak to its intended purpose but feel well protected in it. The magnetic strap is such a nice feature.
Pros: Looks better than most high end helmets. The adjustable vents are nice. Perfectly lined up with M4 & M4S goggles. And it probably saved me from stitches or worse the first day I wore a helmet.Cons: I've never found a helmet I don't complain about, so take this with a grain of salt. I want a helmet that feels like wearing a beanie + goggles, but I doubt that exists. Like every other helmet I've worn for various sports, it feels heavy and the suspension system's irritating. One thing I found annoying with this particular helmet is the glue attaching the Velcro for the "removable and washable" PolarTec liner and ear pads is incredibly weak. The Velcro buttons ripped off the first time I tried to remove it, and I was being as gentle as possible. Same thing ... MorePros: Looks better than most high end helmets. The helmet is great, all thought I've only worn it once on the mountain. The conditions I wore it under were snowy and cold and it worked well with my Anon Googles to prevent fogging up. I usually purchase a helmed larger than my true size because I wear something underneath to keep my head warm. It wasn't an issue with this helmet as the garment is fairly thin and didn't get in the way. My sore point is the helmet adjustment strap. This strap doesn't work as smooth with a single hand as it did on my old Giro.
