Antipodes Gospel Vitamin C Skin Glow Gel Cleanser 200 ml

The cleanser has a lovely texture and delicious scent. It is very foamy (perhaps unnecessarily) but feels lush on the skin. Unfortunately, it dries out my skin too much (I have dry and sensitive skin) so might be better suited to a normal or oily skin type. I felt that it stripped my skin of its natural protective layer which other Antipodes products do not. I would have preferred a gentler version with a similar texture and subtle scent.

This is the best cleanser I have ever used in my whole life. The texture is silky, the smell is wonderful and it makes my skin feel absolutely divine. This cleanser is not drying and doesn't leave the skin feel stripped at all. It's even better than the very expensive cleanser by Environ. Thanks Antipodes for creating a superior product for such an affordable price. I will recommend this product to all my friends! :)

I received the Gospel cleanser pre-release as part of an Antipodes test panel (but no requirement or incentive in exchange for a positive review). I anticipated a luxury experience, lovely scent and effectiveness, as with all Antipodes products. However, this was better than expected - along with gentle cleansing, leaving my skin clean but never tight, I felt there was a definite smoothing and brightening effect. My one piece of advice is to ignore the 'teaspoon amount' the instructions on the bottle tell you to use, unless you want to be rinsing off foam for ages! Just a tiny blob is enough to do the job.
