Antipodes Rejoice Light Facial Day Cream (60 ml)

Antipodes’ rejoice Moisturiser has been my favourite product for about 10 years; it’s perfectly hydrating, great against the Wellington wind (though I did import to Europe when I lived there), and cleared up my stubborn adult acne when I was 23. I can’t fault it but my boyfriend isn’t a fan of the scent. The Hallelujah cleanser smells just divine! The Juliet cleanser was too drying for me, so is probably better for those with oily skin. The vanilla pod day cream was nothing special to me, and the avocado night cream a little heavy for my liking. The Aura mask is great for stressed and dry skin; I’ll leave it on in the shower and it fixes many sins. Brilliant

My go to moisturiser! I have a mix of dry and oily skin and honestly this moisturiser is so good for both! It’s lightweight so goes great under make up and also just melts into your skin, no oily/greasy feeling. Love it

Finally, my prefect day cream!

Thrilled to have found this, I love it. Such a lovely cream to use and easily absorbed into my skin which feels comforted and soft - the redness I had started to get from my previous brand has pretty much gone. It has a great smell and texture and who wouldn't love the beautiful packaging as well ( love the glass jar). So happy. Am using Ananda Toner (my hero fav) and Culture at night and have just started using Kiwi eye cream. All goes together so well. My skin type is normal to sensitive at times.

It's great for under makeup

It absorbs very fast and doesn't leave any residue. I've been using it for two weeks now and my skin feels moisturized, but not oily. My skin looks more firm and clear. I only use it under makeup as I find it keeps my (very oily) skin matte for longer. At night I prefer something heavier. My boyfriend that has dry skin loves this cream as well, so much so that I hide it from him now. I do think that is a sign of a good skin care product-if it suits someone no matter their skin type. It has a subtle and natural scent which I like. The only thing I would've liked is if the tube was bigger, because I do have to use quite a liberal amount. I have very sensitive skin and I have been struggling to find a cream that works. This one ticked a lot of the boxes for me - zero stinging, non greasy, good levels of hydration, didn’t block pores. I only need a little at a time therefore I still had a lot of product left in the jar after 5 months. Not good for normal/dry skin

The texture of the cream is very smooth and definitely is non-oily, which I like. It does sink into your skin immediately. The smell is very gentle. Unfortunately it does make my skin very, very dry and thirsty! Not good for my normal/dry skin at all ( I suppose it will be brilliant for someone who has very oily skin). Very disappointed, it’s not good as a hand cream either, dry my skin too much …

Simple and gorgeous

Not sure what the other reviewers are talking about in terms of an unpleasant smell here, this cream is pretty well unscented and if anything it just smells slightly mealy, like a bowl of oats or something - nothing terrible just not floral. As far as the cream's effectiveness, it is a beautiful consistency that isn't thick or oily at all. A little goes a long way is what I've found with all my Antipodes products so far, which makes it quite cost effective overall. And I feel like my face is just the right amount of moisturised, this product hits the spot.

Surprisingly soothiing and moisturizing

This cream was a surprise. From the name and reviews expected something lighter, more milky, but this is quite thick and moisturizing. It is not greasy at all though and I also find it quite soothing for my sensitive skin—I guess it's the honey that does the trick. I don't like the smell though. I cannot smell the vanilla at all. It smells a bit weird and medicinal to me (again, I think it is the manuka honey).

This cream is very smoothing

This cream is very smoothing for my skin and minimises the appearance of pores. Its matte whilst still remaining hydrating and leaves a nice glow to the skin. Its a fairly thick consistency and I find that a little goes a long way otherwise I find it can be a bit clogging on my pores. Overall its a lovely cream to put on in the mornings to immediately make my skin look more awake and smooth!
