Look it’s cheap and nasty, but it doesn’t get the job done. The crimping comb is on an angle and fails to splice into the connector. As last guy said buy a better tool.

The one I bought wasn't able to fully seat the rj45 pins into the cable core. About the only useful aspect of the tool was the sheath stripper and even that wasn't able to be adjusted, hence the possibility to cut through the twisted pair insulation

Save yourself the stress, and purchase a more expensive tool. This one doesn't crimp properly, beanding, and ruining the copper prongs inside the RJ45/CAT6 plugs. Looks like a nice tool, but completely useless.

These are terrible. Damaged the plugs and didn’t connect the pins correctly. With the 8 connections I tried only one worked first time.Do not waist your money and time. I am taking these back for a refund. I am used to doing lots of wiring so I would not say I am a beginner and just didn’t know how to use them. I ended up borrowing another tool from a friend and had no issues at all.
Careful with the stripper cutter as if hard press for stripping it’ll likely cut a wire or two.Just lightly cut and all is well.
I needed a 70 metre cable so decided to build my own. Almost didn't buy this tool based on the reviews. My experience was very different, it worked great had a nice feeling to it and was easy to know when the crimp was complete. For $21 its a bargain.
I bought this crimping tool as a last resort on New Years Day considering everywhere else was shut. Unfortunately, the one star reviews are founded. The crimping tool pushes the metal tabs sideways, completely missing at least one wire when crimping. It took me about 6 attempts with Antsig's own RJ45 connectors to finally crimp all the wires at once. This meant losing about 10cm of cable and just overall messing around with what should be a simple process.
I bought this tool some time ago and I shocked to see so many negative reviews.. I was looking at another tool an F-type crimping tool with the same negative feedback.I have made numerous patch cables with zero issues and consider this tool to be a perfect addition to my toolbox.Unfortunately due to some individuals possibly not using the tool correctly and then blaming the tool to have poor build quality will then persuade other people to part with more money for a trade quality tool that yes will work as desired but if your a bit of a handyman like myself it doesn’t make any financial sense..So in summary, if you struggle to be hands on and work efficiently with tools in general, don’t buy a tool that will be a waste of your money… instead buy a patch lead ... MoreI bought this tool some time ago and I shocked to see so many negative reviews.. I cannot speak for everyone's experience, but mine was completely positive.Great feel when crimping, and hasn't failed me yet.One downside though is the cable sleeve cutter cuts just a little too deep, which will score the individual wires.
I am a technician and use professional RJ45 crimpers every day. However whilst on holidays I needed to modify some cabling and purchased this tool just to get me through. Wow actually quite good, no ratchet however for the price I am absolutely rapped
