Anua Heartleaf 77% Clear Pad

I’m interested in this new PHA technology propagated by the South Koreans. For skin exfoliation it used to be Salicylic acid and then BHA which is fruit acid. This PHA extract is derived from the plant, Heartleaf. It is supposed to be milder, calmer and more soothing than the predecessors especially for sensitive skin which I noticed is quite prevalent in Asia. I used to work for an international skincare brand. I have also tried the Kundal Mugworts version which is also PHA & LHA but it also contains AHA & BHA. To summarize I find the Anua Heartleaf toner lighter, milder, and calmer than the Kundal Mugwort toner which leaves a feeling of residual layer on your skin. Both pads performed its physical exfoliation so it’s up to you to decide. If your skin is kinda sensitive, I would recommend you try the Anua version which by the way is more expensive than the Kundal one. By the way, there is a seller that is selling the Anua much cheaper. I didn’t buy because I wanted to make sure I test an original first.

Do not sleep on these toner pads fellow kbeauty lovers! They are so so good. I love toner pads and have tried a few and i have some that i keep in rotation....well, these are now going to be on my "must haves" and daily rotation. They are so soothing and are sitting in alot of essence which is amazing! The exfoliating side of the pad is even gentle and they are so hydrating, and my skin feels and looks so clean afterwards. Everyone is different but i especially love these in the mornings when i am pressed for time and i will follow with sunscreen and all done! They are a total multitasker. I am confident all ages will benefit from these pads and the packaging is great with tiny "tweezers" to pick up pads. A tip i got that really works is flipping the pads over so the bottoms one are on top and vice versa as the bottom are loaded with the essence and super saturated and then the top can sit in the essence and also absorb all that essence. The scent is perfect for sensitive skin and it’s gentle. The size is perfect for the price we can use it for 3 months. The quality is amazing. The package comes in plastic bottle. The composition is also good. I use it 3 times a week frequently. Above 14 of age can use the serum. It helps in brightening of the face also I’m trying it for first time. I have heard good reviews about the serum from my colleagues hope it works on my skin. I’m in love with this Korean product. Thank you iHerb because of this app I can buy all my favorite product at affordable price. We can use it any season it’s very light on the skin. No flavor. It moisturizes the skin. The benefits are visible.

These reduced my redness really well. I have patches of eczema on my face, and they often cause intense redness that shows through makeup. These today pads significantly reduced the redness after a couple of uses. I leave them on the red areas for ten minutes then follow up with a calming serum with something like centella asiatica in it. I have used the exfoliating side on my eczema as I can’t use physical exfoliants very often without irritating it, but my eczema flakes often. These pads were a great way to gentle remove the dead skin and soothe redness. Did not have any poor reaction whatsoever. Would recommend
