Like day and night compared to an IPS display, a total upgrade over any monitor I've used in the past. Vibrant colours, very responsive and fluid, you really feel the difference compared to non-OLED. The tech is still relatively new, so it's hard to say how durable it is on a long-term basis, but first impressions of it are great. It does require extra maintenance to help prolong its lifespan, so it might not be recommended as a monitor to spend long sessions of browsing or work tasks on, but for gaming/media purposes it should be a great pick. Extremely impressed and satisfied with this product for now.

Superb! A bit heavy though!

Brilliant monitor for it's price, it's a heckin QD-OLED with 240Hz and I can't tell any issues with it after an hour of use. Only gripe I personally have is the big red box displaying input mode when it powers on after my computer starts but I haven't fully browsed the OSD settings to see if it solves that.Plenty IO options, amazing colors and much better than my IPS displays, can't beat them to be honest. The old IPS displays I had were originally the same price a decade ago but now's the time to switch and this looks absolutely beautiful! The main drawbacks: There's an adapter to VESA mount rather than directly to the monitor. There's goods and bads about this but I'd prefer my mount to be more closer to the monitor so I can get it more flush to the wallThe ... MoreBrilliant monitor for it's price, it's a heckin QD-OLED with 240Hz and I can't tell any issues with it after an hour of use. There's goods and bads about this but I'd prefer my mount to be more closer to the monitor so I can get it more flush to the wallThe weight of the monitor is so much heavier than my OG IPS display that my monitor arm struggles to hold it up! I had to do a bit of modifications to the arm but I may use the original stand instead. It also isn't really 27"! I think it's more 26.5" but with the bezel it measures to 27", it's somewhat annoying, because it isn't the right size as my MSI Mag272QR which is also 27", but that just makes me want to get another one of these aha. After doing a bit of looking up, there is a bit of a "flicker" issue with the monitor and I think I did notice the monitor had a flash of white as I was typing the review, unsure how frequent or noticeable it was. It is pretty bright though and I might turn down the brightness.100% recommend it though, especially for gaming these days, it's not the most affordable monitor, but for the same price 10 years ago would grant you 1440p 144hz gaming and that was satisfactory, upgrading that to an OLED now? Absolutely amazing. Text is clear as day on this monitor, as you get a bit of chromatic aberration with WOLEDs. This is a QD-OLED display so it's much more better! Will return back in a few months to talk about burn in, I've set all the OLED care options to the highest I can to help prevent as much OLED as possible, the taskbar dimming is really nifty.

[Rewarded Review] Bad HDR implementation for console but solid SDR
3 December 2024

Solid monitor for the price, but fuzzy text coupled with subpar HDR and calibration out of the box is disappointing. If you’re like me and bought this monitor with the intent of using it with a PS5 do not buy it. HDR can be adjusted on Windows but not through the monitor OSD which is disappointing considering the actual HDR settings are extremely undersaturated and can be easily tweaked via firmware.

The difference between OLED and the others are night and day. However you need to take care of the monitor to prevent any burn in such as pixel refreshing every 4 hours.

Honestly for the price youre paying, youd never expect it to look as good and run as nice as it does. Quality of a $1000-$2600 OLED monitor at just a fraction of the cost. QDOLED technology with amazing picture and refresh. So happy I got this monitor.

21 December 2024

The AG276QZD2 monitor is awesome with its beautiful picture quality and super smooth 240 Hz refresh rate, making it perfect for gaming. The colors pop, and there's hardly any lag, which is great for both play and work. The screen can be a bit reflective in bright rooms, and it does take up some space. Overall, it's a solid choice for anyone wanting a high-end monitor.USB-C would make this a 5/5.

[Rewarded Review] Great panel for SDR, Broken for HDR
20 December 2024

Pros-The monitor's panel is OLED, so you get amazing contrast, motion clarity, and color (in SDR, explained in cons section)-Relatively cheap for an OLED (I got it at $400 new, it is currently at $500)-Easy joystick navigation on the back-I don't see much of the "raised blacks" issue or purple tint that is so prominent in other QD-OLED panels in a relatively well lit room-Fine text has a bit of color fringing due to the pixel structure, but it's much better than 1st gen Q-DOLED panels, I don't find it distracting at all as compared to the original QD-OLED Alienware models.Cons-Aggressive automatic brightness limiter when the screen is filled with bright objects, but highlights are fine. Brightness in the HDR peak mode looks quite good, and while lower in DisplayHDR mode (this panel's HDR 400 mode) it is more consistent. Overall, could be brighter-The main huge con, the HDR implementation is broken, it seems like the panel's color space is not correctly calibrated. Reds look a bit orange, and everything is super muted. Once you enter HDR mode, like most monitors, you can't fine tune colors on the monitor, so while you can saturate the colors in your graphics card control panel, it wont fix the inaccurate colors.Good to Know- This panel is QD-OLED, not WOLED like the first version, and has a glossy finish and richer colors as compared to WOLED which usually has a matte finish and less vibrant colors (some of this is preference, the 32" dual mode LG monitor with a WOLED has a matte-ish finish which I find preferable to glossy).Should you buy? It's so cheap for a new OLED monitor, I feel there is utility to using this just in SDR mode, with its great colors and amazing contrast (though brightness is a bit dim). However, I'm leaning no... for a hundred or so more at it's current price of $500, you can pick up a really great LG WOLED 27" panel on sale with a great HDR mode which is where these OLED panels really shine (depending on game HDR implementation and especially if you're using it with a console).I'd say wait and see if they release a firmware update to fix the HDR color issues, but for an SDR experience, unbeatable if you got it at the $400 price point.Recommended at $400, but not at $500+.
