It's an "investment", but when combined with windows powertoys fancyzones it makes for a productivity boosting replacement for 3 monitors. Do you need it? No. Will you value it? Yes.

Pros: Excellent image quality, wouldn't spend any more on its rivals.KVM feature works brilliantly and remote control is a bonus not offered on similar products which are more expensive.Cons: Attaching the stand to the monitor was made all the more difficult as the holes in the stand and back of the monitor were misaligned by mere millimetres You had to hold the stand in one position while placing the screws into it. Without the help of another person this monitor would have been returned.
