Fantastic product. All advantage no disadvantages, why wouldn't you purchase this product? Healthy for goldfish, reduces waste and the possibility of swim bladder due to the sinking nature of the food! Great price for the 198g amount. Will definitely purchase again when I run out.

I normally get the bigger food because it lasts a lot longer. My goldfish absolutely love the stuff. Since I've bought this brand I have noticed less ammonia spikes, it has no bad odour best of all my goldfish are changing in colour. Written on the ingredients list does not say copper and I think that is really good because copper is bad for fish.

I purchased this food fish because my son has gotten free gold fish from school. They seem to like it. I would say the pellets are good for small and medium size fish because the pellets are not big enough for a bigger fish. Go quality and good price. You can find it online for $6 or on Ebay which is much cheaper.

Awesome Gold Fish Food

Pellets are very small, a couple millimeters. As stated, these are sinking pellets, and my goldfish loves them. I also have a catfish who also munches on them. They are a great size for smaller bottom feeders, not sure how nutritional they are for other fish, but I do know my Cory Catfish loves them as well.

These work well as my pond has a waterfall and the other size pellets don’t sink as fast as the small ones. Would love to see a larger container.

We started using API pellets 2 years ago for our pond gold fish and were very pleased because there was a lot less food wasted and noticed our filters stay cleaner a lot longer. We feed twice a day and only what the fish can eat in 3 minutes and once we had that established we only had to rinse the filters every two weeks and kept the water was crystal clean. One of the greatest things we noticed was the pellets didn’t break down quickly giving the fish time to consume all of it unlike flakes and others floating foods we tried.

Good sinking pellets

This is a good product; I've been using it on and off for years with all my goldfish. I prefer sinking pellets because looking for food at the bottom is the natural behaviour for goldfish. And pellets are more nutritious than flakes because of the way they are made. Other reviewers said that the pellets did not sink, I never had this problem in many many years of using these, I think the other reviewer might have stored them incorrectly and they got bad?

Great food for goldfish and your tank!

I wish we discovered pellets! It give me a visual that my goldfish are actually eating. It makes the tank much cleaner that the goldfish flakes I use to give! The only thing bad about it, one of my goldfish eats all in one go! Have to ensure the greedy one is distracted before feeding the other older one.

I had always purchased floating pellets and mistakenly bought the sinking ones in a pet store. The fish seem quite happy with it and it’s quickly gobbled up so I’ve continued to buy this brand.
