Utterly useless, only lasted a couple of uses then plastic fractured at the centre dome. Should be considered a dangerous item due to metal dome then coming apart and becoming a hazard. Discarded in rubbish within 1 month of buying it.

Really disappointed in the quality of these. I bought 2. The first lasted 2 uses and the second 3 uses. Have since bought a sun brand one and so far it's going well.

Love these but they never last that long before they break. Unfortunately I haven’t found anything that is as easy to slice cheese so I keep buying them.
So far so good, perfect for cheese slices. Great colour can find in the drawer easily
I’ve brought several of these over the years and they all break after not a lot of use. It is a great product when it works. Just a pity the wire breaks so quickly.
This is not a small unit see size description. useful to cut slices on 250gm or 1 kg cheddar.
The Safest way of cutting a slice of cheese (as there is no blade ready to pop out of the side of the cheese block, and inflict mayhem). Just pull the wire through the cheese, while resting the cutter body on top of the block, and you have the most evenly (and repeatable) cut slice of cheese. With two sides of the cutter offering different thicknesses of cheese, one for thin sandwich slices, and the second for thick cheesy melt thicknesses. Went round all of my local retail stores and was unable to find these on the shelves anywhere, good to see that the online stores were on their game. Would recommend these to cheese lovers anywhere, young or old.
This is a product that actually works as described. It is well made and sits comfortably in the hand unlike the plastic version I purchased from a local supermarket which broke after a second use. It is highly recommended for consistently sized slicing all varieties of hard and soft cheeses.
It is a better quality than the cheap zinc alloy ones you buy from supermarkets. The comments can be misleading: e.g.. there is no plastic component holding the wire (that would be stupid considering the tension it is under). Just one misgiving that I encounter all the time: in order to get very fine slices, you need to file out the slot that the roller adjusts into a little more. Even the finest slice setting in all these type of cheese slicers are too thick for me, and, I suspect, for many people. All in all, good quality item though, and prompt service.
