Gizmo here to review prawn nom. As the mighty hunter and protector of my household I must have the highest quality of food. This offering of prawns is very worthy of my very high position and is the only worthy food I shall not eat anything else I will turn my nose to any lesser foods. Best cat food ever!

My cat was such a picky eater and lost so much weight from barely eating. I’ve tried everything, different brands of both wet and dry food with them all not working. Until my friend recommended me this brand. I am literally never going back to other brands. This is the best cat food ever. She loves it so much she’s finally gaining back her weight. And she goes crazy for it. I’ve never seen her like this. I’m happy to come across this bc it makes both my baby and me happy. And what I like is how you can actually see the food it says it has like the shrimp. Good quality and good brand , I would recommend to everyone. It is pricey but it’s so worth it!

Fantastic Staff at Unleashed in Long Beach!

My two cats will eat nothing else but Applaws Natural Tuna Fillet in Broth, not even other brands of tuna. This puts in a spot when my favorite local pet store runs out and doesn't get a shipment, which happens with regularity. Because of this situation, the amazing staff at my local Unleashed store, puts aside a case of the Applaws Tuna for me and calls to let me know when it has arrived.

My Usual Go-To Brand! Careful with Duck!

Normally I'd give this brand 5 stars. The ingredients are wonderfully simple, easy to digest, and it's all human-grade food. The variety packs are a great way to add some flavor to your cat's pallette, instead of the same old cat food over and over.That being said, I'd buy most any of their products save for their Chicken and Duck, and the Chicken Multipack. Other people seem to have had more luck than me, but I fed this particular pot to my cat and within 20 hours he was puking all over. I'd be willing to chalk it up to a bad tummy day, but I'd personally rather be safe than sorry and will probably be avoiding this particular pot in the future.I reccomend their fish variety pack, and their chicken variety pack; the ones that come in metal cans. My cat’s begged for treat.

My cat does not eat treats so this is his begged for treat. I purchased every flaked tuna brand trying to find a replacement for his discontinued treat. This was the winner. Picky cat. I only give him about one ounce per day. He’s on prescription dry food as his regular meals. I gave it four stars instead of five because I found a large bone in one of the cans. Just one can in the many cases I’ve purchased.

Our cats love this, but there's a major catch

Our orange tabby went bonkers over the Natural Tuna Fillet with Shrimp. He's been eating one can per day ever since. BUT, there's a problem with that.It wasn't until our inquisitive daughter carefully read the label, that we learned this particular food is considered to be "supplemental" or "complimentary" to other complete, fully nutritional foods. It does NOT contain many nutrients that are essential to complete feline health, such as taurine.Then we started scrutinizing other Applaws food labels, and were quite surprised. Here's a direct quote from the can, which is in teeny, tiny print and in a location you would never think to look: "This product is intended for intermittent or supplemental feeding only." That's a pretty important point to relegate to the back of the label in silly-small print.

Poor quality

Despite this being my good-natured cat’s favorite flavor/kind of food, when I received the box, the first day I opened it and put some in her dish, she recoiled and refused to touch it. I had to throw it away by late evening. The second day, the same thing - instead of eagerly running to her bowl, she crept up hesitantly, sniffed it from a distance and left the room. Even though the expiration date was far in advance, something seemed wrong with the quality. I fed her the same food, but one I still had in the cupboard the next morning and she eagerly ate it. I returned the entire box. Something is clearly lwrong with the whole batch, even though I could not detect it. Very disappointed and annoyed. The store refunded me nicely, however.

Quality has diminished

It used to be all fish with a grain of rice here or there. Now i have to pick out clumps of rice. Cats do not need white rice, first of all, but there was so little of it at first i didn’t mind. I suppose rice is cheaper than tuna because now there’s alot. My cats eat around the rice and i throw it away when they are done. Interestingly, we’re still paying the same price, which isn’t cheap, for more rice and less fish. And it isn’t just a can now and then; it’s become every can i open. I don’t want to buy this anymore.

The Cats'Meow

I have 3 purebreds, 2 Persians and 1 silver shade. They are picky eaters. I introduced them to Applaws Tuna and their was no hesitation to finish what I put in their plate. The product smells fresh and it is desired by my cats. It keeps their coats shiny and they are more energetic since eating the tuna from Applaws. I do recommend this product to my cat friends and suggest they purchase the product from Petco.
