As a retired breeder and owner of six pedigree cats i would highly recommend applaws food especially this flavour. As soon as it hits their bowls they lap it up. The added whole anchovies keep them satisfied for longer. The only downfall is that is isnt currently available in the 70g cans like other flavours. I have found that because Applaws foods have high meat content it has been ideal for some of my sensitive cats who are prone to digestion problems after eating other foods. Absolutely love it.

My cat's 10, and I've been feeding her wet food in addition to dry for the last year. She's very fussy, sometimes leaving the pieces of meat and just licking the jelly or sauce. So I thought I'd treat her to some top notch meat with this. When I opened the packet I thought the meat looked and smelt good. My cat did eat some, but the vast majority was wasted. The meat isn't in jelly or sauce, so if you have a cat with 'who's used to that then they may not enjoy this. I was kind of relieieved that she wasn't keen due to the price!

Have been looking for individual chicken and pumpkin variety Applaws cat food. My cats enjoy it so much but its only available in mixed multi packs in the supermarket so added to my Royal Cannin Bulk dry foods order.. My floof balls love it! Will definitely be ordering more!

My 4 fussy cats absolutely devour this food. They tell me it's delicious. They loved the tuna and prawn but when it was out of stock I thought I would try this one and they love it.
My Maine Coon had a litter of kittens and I wanted to give her a special treat. She absolutely loves these pouches. She has an empty bowl every time. It is worth remembering they are a complimentary food not a complete food. They are a little on the pricey side, but are good value at Pets at Home compared to some other places I have bought them.The really interesting flavours in this range mean that she is sat waiting at her bowl in anticipation, which is great to see. She particularly enjoys this chicken and pumpkin pack. The meat appears to be really good quality and the vegetables are clear to see - she also loves the asparagus one and you can see the large pieces of it in there. Great food for a special treat.
My cats love this different flavour. They are fussy & turn their noses up at any food that doesn’t appeal to them. They love the added anchovy & leave the bowl clean.
My kitten was constipated, after research I found that chicken with pumpkin is good for constipation. My kitten loves it, and his constipation has been resolved :)
My cats absolutely LOVE this - twice a day they demand to be fed and eat with such gusto you would think they were starving. I started giving them this because one had been showing signs of an upset stomach for a little while and my research brought me to this and the one with wild rice. For the past three/four weeks I have been giving them a pouch with wild rice and a pouch with pumpkin each day and I am delighted to report things are improving. I am delighted. AND it is completely natural - just a few ingredients and no funny additives or bulk grains. A win-win for cats and owners alike. I highly recommend.
I have 3 cats which call loved the tinned chicken and pumpkin (from Applaws) which are hard to get now. I decided to try the sachet thinking it would be the same but they ALL hate it! I've even tried mixing it with some other food that they like and they barely touch it. I bought 2 boxes for nothing.
i have 4 cats ranging between 12yrs old and 15mths , my 12 year old is a really fussy eater and turns her nose up at most wet foods or is sick. she also will not eat anything out of a tin for some strange reason. she loves this food{thankyou pets at home} its the only brand she will eat and doesnt bring it back up. she also highly rates the chicken and ostrich and chicken and wild rice applaws too. so shares a pouch with my 5 year old cat for her supper. unlike the too younger cats who will eat any flavour as long as its applaws. got to say i hate the smell of wet pet food.
