If you live on planet Earth, in a quazi-modern society, you're familiar with iPad and the features offered. Important Note about other reviews on this device: I just noticed the ONE STAR, defamatory review left by an individual who seems to be hopelessly confused. The review erroneously states the following: "Useless with Behringer X Air" "Bought with Behringer X Air XR16 and the two DO NOT WORK TOGETHER. The iPad comes with iOS16 which is so far INCOMPATIBLE with X Air so if you are looking to buy the "whole package" you're better off finding an older iPad." "by Sweetwater Customer on February 9, 2023" Wow, this is an unforgivably foolish, neandratholic statement. The above review is an example of an erroneous statement based on an incredibly foolish, ignorant ASSUMPTION. This oblivious, lazy "anonomous" user is cognitively unfit, and the comment should be deleted as it is completely inacurate. There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with this model of iPad, in fact, Beherenger (listed in the review) failed to update their software to work properly with Apple's long updated OS. EVEN if a third party vendor's hardware or software isn't compatable with iPad, this is not an issue with the iPad, IT'S AN ISSUE WITH THE THIRD PARTY HARDWARE/SOFTWARE, and this should be self-evident to any cognitively healthy individual. This is a KNOWN issue with the Beherenger product referred to in the review, and there are multiple reviews on the 'Beheringer X Air' which SPECIFICALLY state this. It doesn't take much intelligence to see that the issue is not with the iPad. I am currently using this model of iPad with my primary DAW software, "Studio One v6", and it performs flawlessly. Please, disregard the blatently moronic "review" posted by "anonomyous" on Feb 9, 2023. Certain individuals simply aren't capable of logical thought, and their actions result in skewed ratings. This may sound harsh, but in a world where the average IQ (which is already very low) is dropping by an average of 9 points every generation, blatent ignorance of this level simply cannot be tolorated. A quick look at the thrid party product (the Beheringer X Air) will reveal multiple reviews with clearly state that Beheringer has not updated their App to work with current versions of iOS. The review below was copied from the Behringer product's review section: "No Longer Works with iPads The Mac Os app has not been updated for 2 years and no longer works with iPads." This is just one of many reviews of the Beheringer X Air which address this known issue. Thanks for reading this review/correction, and I hope you enjoy your new iPad if you purchase one!!

Let me give you the lowdown on the $329 iPad. This thing is a steal, especially since I snagged it for just $250. If you're looking for a budget-friendly tablet that handles most of your everyday computing tasks, this iPad is where it's at.Let's talk about the price first. It's hard to beat what you get for the money. This iPad may not have all the top-of-the-line features of the pricey ones, but who needs all that fancy stuff for everyday use, right? This tablet does about 90% of the computing stuff you want to do on a regular basis. Browsing the web, watching videos, checking emails, even doing some light work stuff - this iPad can handle it all.Performance-wise, I've been pleasantly surprised. Apps launch quickly, and I haven't experienced any major slowdowns ... MoreLet me give you the lowdown on the $329 iPad. This thing is a steal, especially since I snagged it for just $250. Apps launch quickly, and I haven't experienced any major slowdowns or annoying lag. The A12 Bionic chip inside might not be the newest thing out there, but it does the job just fine. The display quality is pretty darn good for the price. The 10.2-inch Retina display is sharp and colorful, making whatever you're looking at come to life. Whether it's streaming your favorite shows or playing games, the visuals really pop.Battery life is solid, my friends. I can go a whole day without worrying about running out of juice. I use it for browsing, watching videos, and even some gaming, and it keeps chugging along. Plus, it charges up quick-enough when I need to top it up.Now, here's the thing. The storage space might be a tad tight for some folks. The base model only comes with 64GB, which might not be enough if you're a big app downloader or media hoarder. But hey, don't sweat it! You can shell out a bit more for the 128GB option if you need more space. The camera is decent, but let's be real, who's buying an iPad for its camera, right? It takes decent pictures and works fine for video calls, but don't expect jaw-dropping quality. All in all, if you're on the hunt for an affordable tablet that does most of what you need on a daily basis, the $329 iPad is a solid choice. It's got a great bang-for-your-buck factor and is perfect for students, working folks, or anyone who wants to jump into the Apple world without emptying their wallet. Give it a go, and you won't be disappointed.

Whether you're multitasking, editing photos, or enjoying graphics-intensive games, the device handles everything with smoothness and efficiency. The 64GB of storage provides ample space for apps, documents, photos, and videos, but for heavy media consumers, opting for higher storage options might be worth considering.Software and Productivity:The iPad runs on iPadOS, which offers a tailored user experience optimized for the tablet form factor. The software ecosystem is robust, providing access to a wide range of apps, including productivity tools like Apple's iWork suite, Microsoft Office, and numerous creative applications. The Lightning port, while not as modern as USB-C, still provides reliable data transfer and charging capabilities.Value for Money:In terms of value, the 10.2-inch iPad strikes a sweet spot. This 10.2” iPad 9th gen is an easier choice than its theoretical successor, the 10th gen. In fact, the 10th gen is more fitting as an “Air” model than as a humble plain-Jane entry-level iPad, especially since Apple had recently upgraded the actual Air into a near-Pro.I’ll leave it up to you to watch one of the many YouTube videos detailing the specs differences, with several vloggers and bloggers recommending this basic iPad as more than sufficient for almost every user. I’ll just share why it works well for me:1. I have an iPhone, so being able to toggle a setting to receive and place calls on my iPad automatically linked to my phone is really convenient.2. I can send or receive iMessages (texts from anyone else’s iPhone or iPad) without even turning on the ... MoreThis 10.2” iPad 9th gen is an easier choice than its theoretical successor, the 10th gen. I’ll just share why it works well for me:1. I have an iPhone, so being able to toggle a setting to receive and place calls on my iPad automatically linked to my phone is really convenient.2. I can send or receive iMessages (texts from anyone else’s iPhone or iPad) without even turning on the calls feature, above, and ditto for FaceTime Audio and Video calls.3. Apple’s App Store is still king of the app stores, and because we can’t load apps from outside sources, I don’t have to squash the malware that phished itself into mom’s Android phone.4. Apple is much more likely to be approved for use in schools (exams etc), though Chromebooks are also now deeply entrenched. I’d say iPads dominate grades 1-6, Chromebooks take over high school, and iPads replace notebooks in college classes (with MacBooks dominated the dorm and apartments desks).5. 64gb of standard storage is a significant upgrade over the 8th gen and matches the 10th gen, with almost three times the available (after iOS and pre installed apps) storage on prior 8th gen entry level iPad.6. 3gb of RAM handles App switching slightly faster than the prior 2gb.7. It’s fast. Faster than almost all Android tablets even now.8. Very accurate colors and great brightness make for better Netflix. Before hunting for HDR, make sure your brightness is turned up higher first. A lot of people dial down the brightness, which lowers the contrast range (HDR is all about expanding that contrast range limit). Some negatives:The 10th gen and Air have stereo speakers on left and right sides in landscape, this 9th gen has both of them on the right side. The 10th has USB C, meaning simpler thumb drive transfers IF you have already upgraded to C connected thumb drives. HOWEVER, third party Lightning to thumb drive standard A are now cheaply and readily available, and work fine for me with my existing thumb drives. The camera on the 10th is in the top middle landscape location now. However the camera on the 9th was super upgraded to 12mp and Centerstage, although left in the original iPad location. With Centerstage and improved optics I’m ok with that. This 9th is still current in April 2023 but should be upgraded in the fall. I don’t think Apple will discontinue the concept of two entry level iPads though, just because the 10th is too expensive.
