I loved the new advancements in this product! The large storage was a huge plus, there’s enough room for all of the necessary college things. The camera was amazing for scanning assignments and taking pictures of models. The battery life lasts me all day, which is amazing because it means I don’t have to worry about finding open outlets all the time. Overall, it’s an amazing product and one that I would absolutely recommend!!

Absolutely love it every bit as much if not more than the iPad Generation 4 it replaced for me! Expected to need a long transition time to get used to the changes of a newer model as I am VERY technologically challenged and usually struggle really hard with changes in electronics. But the changes were for once very minor and have not frustrated me at all! So much fun to actually be able to explore all the apps out there again, it's been some years since they stopped making apps that could be downloaded to the gen 4. And all of my favorites from that iPad are still available on this new to me one! To anyone else out there investigating what they would like, this one is the only one I could find with a nice big screen as well! Sits very comfortably in my lap or ... Sits very comfortably in my lap or propped in it's stand on the table, and I don't need my cheaters to be able to read the small stuff! The battery lasts about two weeks for me, if I mostly only play offline games and do a bit of online window shopping. If I am streaming movies while I am sewing then it can make it about three days. I have not done any ebooks on it yet but assume the battery will respond the same as streaming movies, depending on how long I sit and read each time.

Apple is by far the best tablet I have ever owned. This particular tablet is 10.2" which is a really good size. The tablet is really thin and has a super sleek look. Setting up was really easy. Basically just power it up and then follow the instructions. If you already have an Apple ID you will need your log in information. If you do not already have an Apple ID you can easily set one up on your new iPad. The iPad was charged to around 52% when I first turned it on so I had plenty of juice to get it set up and play around with it for a good while. The battery seems to last a long time. I have had my iPad a couple of weeks and I still am finding things I need to customize. It is set up to automatically use "the cloud" which you may like. I do not. I do not store my stuff in "the cloud". I back up to my personal computer or external devices. Things like Siri are also auto turned on. I also turned this off. And everything that tracks me. Another thing that seemed new to me was the iPad automatically synced with other devices that are signed in to the same Apple ID and this is not something I personally wanted so that is something you have to turn off manually. I have found that anything I did not know how to do or change in settings I could just google my question and easily find step by step instructions on how to fix it.This iPad generation is a little different in waking it up. You press the home button (the little circle at the bottom or side depending on how you are holding it) and then swipe up from the bottom and your pass code pad comes up. I think you also have the option to use a finger print or face recognition to log in with. Also unlike the earlier generations the pass code is 7 digits instead of 4. The iPad is 128 gig so you have plenty of space for all the apps you want and even to download books and movies for offline viewing. The iPad seems really fast in anything I want to do. You can video and take still shot pictures and you have a front are rear facing camera. I am really happy with my purchase and would recommend this to anyone looking for a tablet. The price is very reasonable. I would definitly purchase this again or purchase as a gift for anyone who wanted a tablet. You also will need to download the latest version of IOS which it should prompt you to do when setting up.

I bought this iPad over a week ago and I LOVE it. It was easy to set up and it’s so much faster than the Dell laptop I was using before I invested in the iPad. The iPad is smaller than the laptop I have and I needed to buy a case and keyboard separately, but all that aside, I’m very happy with this product. I love the touch screen and the fact that I don’t need a mouse or trackpad to place a cursor in a field. It’s WICKED that I don’t have to point, click and hold to scroll down a webpage.I use my iPad a lot for Facebook, online banking and gaming apps (namely Cookie Jam, Cookie Jam Blast and a few Candy Crush apps), and this iPad blows my old laptop out of the water in terms of performance. It doesn’t lag and I don’t have to wait for the graphics card to catch up ... MoreI bought this iPad over a week ago and I LOVE it. It doesn’t lag and I don’t have to wait for the graphics card to catch up with the gaming app. I do a lot of work with Microsoft Office and I installed Office on my iPad. I don’t notice much of a difference between running Microsoft Office on the iPad compared to running it in Windows 10.I eventually want to trade the iPad for a MacBook Air (or MacBook Pro), and.I love the idea of being able to trade in my iPad for a MacBook and receive money toward the new computer. I never saw that with the Microsoft Windows based computers I owned. Good on Apple for the incentives to help reduce the carbon footprint. I’m so impressed with this trade-in value concept that I don’t see myself ever going back to Windows PCs.
I bought this iPad 8th generation to update from the iPad 2 Mini I've used for the last 5 years. It won't be used for working, only home entertainment, but this will be a good investment going forward. It is a lot faster and more responsive than my old iPad 2, regarding both the touchscreen and quickness in the system. The screen is a big improvement from the old one, which does have Retina, but this looks sharper and more detailed. The 8th gen was magically easy to transfer all my info from the old iPad, in less than 10 minutes. The features such as Picture-in-Picture and Dual Screen are much easier to use on the 8th generation. The sound is clearer, and the mic picks up my questions to Siri even through the iPad case I put it in. My only issue is: though the 8th ... My only issue is: though the 8th gen has a round earphone jack, it does not fit my Apple earbuds' jack plug. It does fit the earbuds' Lightning plug through the Lightning jack, but then I can't use earbuds when plugged into power source. I'm still exploring all that this new iPad has to offer, so I'll probably solve that soon.
I had this tablet for about 3 days before deciding to return it. It is a great tablet if you're not doing anything constructive and its solely to please a kid who just watches YouTube or plays mobile games. Other than that, it was pretty much useless to me. I hated the fact that this product gives you no choice in additional storage and forces you to use their AppleID, iCloud, and by extension Google Drive, all crappy choices if you value any privacy. Their App Store policies are horrible and forces it's developers to produce far inferior products compared to it's competitor. Want to use your awesome GamePass to play your console games on your tablet? Not Compatible. Want to run your Antivirus and Firewall software? Sorry, you can only check the status and can't run ... Their App Store policies are horrible and forces it's developers to produce far inferior products compared to it's competitor. Want to use your awesome GamePass to play your console games on your tablet? Not Compatible. Want to run your Antivirus and Firewall software? Sorry, you can only check the status and can't run an actual scan. Want to disable EXTREMELY intrusive features or Apps? Sorry, their policy prohibits it or makes it virtually useless. Oh, but what about these Apple products being virtually virus free? Sure, if you don't mind being monitored 24/7 by Apple/Google. Thanks but no thanks. Again, great for kids, with strong parental controls (like that ever happens). Other than that, no adult person in their right mind would use this product in it's current state. It's pretty, but that's it.
I've used Geek Squad for several years. It's the reason I shop at Best Buy. So, when I saw that I could purchase a refurbished by Geek Squad ipad I jumped at it. My total tech membership is my best purchase ever. I know they did a spectacular job refurbishing it and, with a 1 year warranty it was a no brainer. When I leave the store, if there is a Best Buy manager there I tell him that Geek Squad is the best thing going.Oh, and by the way, the Geek Squad tech person helped me set it up and was very patient with me. They never make me feel stupid. Important for a 77 year old senior.
I have to say I have bought 3 IPads from Walmart and each IPad does not disappoint! I trusted the fact they they offer not only a 90 day guarantee but also, you are offered an option to buy insurance from AllState. Arrived in a timely manner. Also, they sweetened the deal with a screen protector, wireless speaker and earbuds! My grandson couldn't be happier.
My son wanted an IPad for Christmas but he’s 10 years old so I didn’t want something too fancy and new but wanted something decent enough to do what it’s intended to do. He loves it ! I had contacted Best Buy to get advice on which tablet to buy and the customer service agent helped me out a lot and even created the cart for me so all I had to do was buy it from the link he sent. He also recommended a pen to buy to go with it. The only concern I have heard is that it charges slow.
I purchased this IPad for my husband’s birthday. It arrived sooner than expected which was great, however it would not turn on. I tried all different chargers. It would say it was charging but never come on. I contacted the seller via email AND via phone (left a voicemail) but never heard back. I just wanted them to make it right. I know things happen and I was willing to work with them for a solution. They CLEARLY don’t test their products before selling them. They just want to sell you garbage and take your money. I mailed it back a day after it came. I’ll be patiently awaiting my refund. Hopefully they will make right with that. We shall see.
