Picked up this older version (4th gen) iPad Pro base model after I had previously purchased a M1 MacBook Air - it was a perfectly lovely device but I realized I was still doing most of my actual work (photography, writing, spreadsheets and other simple tasks) on my windows PC. The laptop was meant to be a mobile workstation I could take to clients, but working on the small screen after being used to 32" of 2160p screen estate was not going to happen. All I needed was a portable device that could be used to show a client documentation/photos, take notes and do correspondence tasks.MacBook Air was simply overkill for that, and it's much, much, MUCH easier to use an iPad for client demos and showing photos/text compared to a laptop. I don't need a M1 machine or huge amounts of storage to do my work, and this was $200 less for a gorgeous screen, 120hz refresh rate, and smaller/lighter than the Air.I could have gotten the freshest M1 iPad Air but the 12.9 screen is simply too good. It's the right proportion and size to be passable as a sheet of letter paper and that makes it remarkably easy to use as a delivery medium for images and text. The screens on MacBook Air/Pro etc. may be bigger but they don't do portrait orientation, and at nearly 100% the size of a sheet of paper it's the most seamless way to have a digital document workflow.The money I saved by not buying the latest M2 iPad Pro will go to a new Mac Studio (when the M2 version drops or when the M1max model is on sale) because iCloud integration is a total game changer for people who work across multiple sites, and doing it on PC is possible but kludgy at best.

I believe Microcenter is doing a good job in regards to helping customers. I did use the text to customer for the first time and it was a good experience. This allowed me to do a fresh start on the device then I restored the I cloud backup. But I checked the imei number through t mobile first this time before I added all of my stuff back on.So please make sure this is noted in bold letters on your website for this device so other people who are in a similar situation want buy the wrong one and have to spend a day trying to figure this out like I did.So if you have a migrated Sprint account over to T Mobile then this device will work on your account. After purchasing you should immediately call T Mobile and check the IMEI . If the say yes it works then you should work with T mobile customer service to transfer this device on your current Tablet line or ask them to put it on a fresh tablet line with a new slim card. There will be a cost for a new line.Please note that this is nothing against MicroCenter . I would recommend buying from them if you do not want to have to pay 24 months on your plan. This is only if you were a Sprint customer and your account was migrated to T mobile. If you have a straight T Mobile account this one and the other 4th generation should work fine . Its only if still have a old Sprint account and it was migrated over.This took me from 11 am to 5 pm to figure this and this should help others

The 12.9 offers the best display I could find on a device of this size and being able to finance the device through my carrier meant that I could afford the other peripherals like a keyboard case, mouse, and Apple Pencil.Lastly, Power, this iPad Pro 12.9 M2 has not lost a step in anything that I have thrown at it. I have had to come up with a couple work around when printing documents from third parties but outside of that I can access anything and everything I need to for work through apps and web browser.When I sit in Starbucks completing my work and I see others using clunky/chunky laptops I can’t imagine ever going back to that setup and weight it brings to your work bag. If you are looking for the true laptop replacement, I highly recommend the 12.9 iPad Pro.
