Apple 13" iPad Pro (M4, Wi-Fi + Cellular, Silver, 1TB)

Nicely bubble wrapped and double boxed. Ipad is light and thin, M4 chip is fast. Front camera in the middle for landscape mode is a nice change. Need to get used to the dynamic volume control though- volume up and down buttons depend on whether Ipad is in portrait or landscape mode. Cannot change this in Settings for this Ipad.

Awesome Upgrade!

I debated and debated and finally upgraded from a regular Ipad 9 from 2018. WOW. Love how it doesn't slow down no matter how many tabs I leave open on it. It's made me more productive and acts as a 2nd monitor to my MacBook Pro. So far loving the purchase. I browse, edit photos, do language learning and it can supplement my MacBook Pro when I want to travel light. (not a laptop replacement, but close to it)

Beautiful Display

The OLED display is fantastic on the new M4 iPad Pro. The M4 chip is future proof for many years to come! Despite its large size, the 13 inch is only 578 g so it is very manageable to hold up for extended periods of time, although if I were to be travelling with it or using it for schooling, I probably would’ve picked the 11 inch. Only negatives I have to say are: the 13 inch is almost too thin, not very comfortable to hold in the hand without a case, and due to its dimensions, it has a 4:3 aspect ratio, which is not the best for watching and consuming content as you have big black bars on the top and bottom of the screen when watching.

Expensive for watching YouTube.

Didn’t need it, overkill for what I use it for….i don’t care it’s awesome!The screen is really great for general content watching, and very good for logic and FCP.There is some clever improvements, the volume bumpers changes depending on orientation, FaceTime has been moved to horizontal and really seems to work from all angles.It’s very very thin, feels like your hardly holding anything.Apple got me again…..the marketing works!

I don't get it

I use a MacBook Pro for processing photos as I travel, and decided to get the iPad as a more convenient way to share them. That's really all I wanted, viewing photos with something smaller and more convenient. A quick and easy airdrop. I've not been a big fan of the Mac IOS, but have suffered through it because it does a great job with photos. But the iPad? Horrible!!! The ability to simply airdrop photos to a folder or album on the iPad for viewing requires many, many steps. Not intuitive, ridiculously complex - insulting how poorly this software functions. Love a good iPad!

Powerful, beautiful, but a little heavy

I have been a PC user for most of my life, though have owned an old 2005 MacBook and an iPod from the 2012. This purchase is my first Apple device since then and I am thoroughly pleased by how beautiful iPad OS is and how user friendly it is. Equally impressive is its M1 chip which allows me to swiftly toggle between many open apps including GarageBand. Though I mostly use this for simple browsing and checking email, so any limitations in processing power has not been perceivable. My only gripe with this device is that sometimes it can feel a bit heavy or clunky to hold while using. I think getting a case with a strap or handle would be a good idea.

Fantastic device very happy with my purchase, from the oled display to the M4 chipset. Upgraded from my 11 inch pro, very happy so far! Not to mention the thinness with this device! Fit all that tech into a device this light weight is awesome!

If you're planning to buy this, just go for a MacBook. And if you don't care, make sure you choose the right size. If it's for gaming, then nah, the M4 chip doesn't really improve anything—it's frame dropping every couple of minutes. but if ur gonna use it for educational purposes and art then this iPad is for u. Well, I may not be somebody in your life, but think twice.
