I debated and debated and finally upgraded from a regular Ipad 9 from 2018. WOW. Love how it doesn't slow down no matter how many tabs I leave open on it. It's made me more productive and acts as a 2nd monitor to my MacBook Pro. So far loving the purchase. I browse, edit photos, do language learning and it can supplement my MacBook Pro when I want to travel light. (not a laptop replacement, but close to it)

The OLED display is fantastic on the new M4 iPad Pro. The M4 chip is future proof for many years to come! Despite its large size, the 13 inch is only 578 g so it is very manageable to hold up for extended periods of time, although if I were to be travelling with it or using it for schooling, I probably would’ve picked the 11 inch. Only negatives I have to say are: the 13 inch is almost too thin, not very comfortable to hold in the hand without a case, and due to its dimensions, it has a 4:3 aspect ratio, which is not the best for watching and consuming content as you have big black bars on the top and bottom of the screen when watching.

Didn’t need it, overkill for what I use it for….i don’t care it’s awesome!The screen is really great for general content watching, and very good for logic and FCP.There is some clever improvements, the volume bumpers changes depending on orientation, FaceTime has been moved to horizontal and really seems to work from all angles.It’s very very thin, feels like your hardly holding anything.Apple got me again…..the marketing works!

I use a MacBook Pro for processing photos as I travel, and decided to get the iPad as a more convenient way to share them. That's really all I wanted, viewing photos with something smaller and more convenient. A quick and easy airdrop. I've not been a big fan of the Mac IOS, but have suffered through it because it does a great job with photos. But the iPad? Horrible!!! The ability to simply airdrop photos to a folder or album on the iPad for viewing requires many, many steps. Not intuitive, ridiculously complex - insulting how poorly this software functions. I am not stupid when it comes to computers - when apple support even tells me there are a few more steps to move photos from folder to folder or from one device to another, it is time to move over to a different ... I’m a big Apple product guy. I like new things. This iPad Pro was amazingly thin when I first removed it from the box. Crazy how they can package technology into such a thin product.In terms of usage, it is no game changer. Still an iPad. For the things I use it for it is marginally smoother and slightly faster. Lots of potential here that needs to be unleashed.Probably not a good upgrade if you had last years iPad…Good upgrade for me coming from a few generation old IPads.

Obviously a very popular item.I chose the cellular version but didn't realise that it only took an e-SIM that took a couple of days to set up, totally my fault as I didn't read the specifications properly.I'm very pleased with my purchase but I haven't used the camera so can't comment on its performance.I've had previous iPads so I'm used to the operating system however, I love the larger screen with faster processor and although I haven't used it to watch films or catch TV yet, I know that it will perform well.
Replacement for an older 8 inch iPad. Wife loves it. She likes larger screen size and speed as the old one was getting pokey with diminishing battery power. Transfer from old to new via the Apple iCloud went smoothly.At the time of purchase, Sam's had the best price by $20 and best availability over other online retailers.
If you're planning to buy this, just go for a MacBook. And if you don't care, make sure you choose the right size. If it's for gaming, then nah, the M4 chip doesn't really improve anything—it's frame dropping every couple of minutes. but if ur gonna use it for educational purposes and art then this iPad is for u. Well, I may not be somebody in your life, but think twice.
