Metal piece broke off in my device not long after

I wish I knew this was still returnable in December/beginning of January. I went with Apple brand thinking it would be better quality. Well right after I bought it noticed the USB-C plug in side (the little metal piece that goes in your device) was loose. Thinking it was not returnable , I just took it easy. A few weeks later, I unplugged it and the metal piece stayed in my iPad

Not Your Average Cable

WRONG ending

I miss placed the cable that came with my new IPad Air 5 and thought this was like it. But it has the same thing on both ends! I need one with a USB port on the other end like the one that came with it. The picture in the listing only showed one end is this for an Apple Watch? The ad should’ve specified if it was for a particular Apple device.

Woven Charge Cable

I bought a new IPad Air 5 months ago. It stopped charging. I replaced it with this cord. It is more flexible and pliable than the cord that came with the device. Apple should use this style with all their devices. Given how expensive the IPad was, imagine my disappointment when it wouldn’t charge. This cord is awesome.
