I recently upgraded to the Apple AirPods Pro (2nd Generation) in White, and I am genuinely impressed with their performance, comfort, and features. Straight out of the box, the AirPods Pro have a sleek and modern design that stands out. The compact charging case is incredibly portable and fits easily into my pocket or bag, making it convenient to carry around. One of the standout features of the 2nd generation AirPods Pro is the active noise cancellation. It effectively blocks out ambient sounds, allowing me to fully immerse myself in my music or podcasts without distractions. The transparency mode is equally impressive, as it lets me stay aware of my surroundings when needed, making it perfect for outdoor activities or commuting. The AirPods Pro have an ergonomic design, featuring interchangeable silicone ear tips that provide a secure and comfortable fit. The snug fit ensures that they stay in place, even during vigorous workouts, without causing any discomfort. Sound quality is excellent, with clear audio and a well-balanced profile that caters to various music genres. The adaptive EQ feature automatically adjusts the audio to suit my personal preferences, ensuring an optimal listening experience every time. Battery life has been reliable, with up to 4.5 hours of listening time on a single charge and up to 24 hours with the charging case. The quick charging feature is a lifesaver when I'm in a hurry, providing around an hour of listening time with just a few minutes of charging. If I had to point out a drawback, it would be the premium price tag. However, considering the top-notch audio quality, noise cancellation, and other advanced features, I believe the investment is well worth it. To sum it up, the Apple AirPods Pro (2nd Generation) deliver an exceptional listening experience with their comfort, sound quality, and advanced features. If you're looking for a versatile and reliable pair of true wireless earbuds, I highly recommend giving the AirPods Pro a try.

My AirPods have constant issues, weather it be connecting to my iPhone, the case not charging, or one of my AirPods being dead and not charging. Every time I plug my AirPods into a good charger, it never charges. My AirPods only charge on my chromebook or on an iPad charger. Last night I plugged them in for 3+ hours because I needed them for my 6.5 hour car ride I am currently on right now, and they didnt charge. They have no battery at all, not even enough to connect to my iPhone. Another instance of my AirPods being buggy is when I was in school sometimes I put 1 in when I was doing independent work, so I could listen if someone called my name but I could also listen to music. I often went to school with almost full or full charge in both my case and my AirPods ... MoreMy AirPods have constant issues, weather it be connecting to my iPhone, the case not charging, or one of my AirPods being dead and not charging. I often went to school with almost full or full charge in both my case and my AirPods themselves. In first period one time I had used my AirPod to listen to music because I was working on a project. It died later that period so I just put that one back in the case, and started using the other one. Class ended shortly after, and I didnt use them for a little while, until after lunch time. When I tried to use my right AirPod which I previously used at first period, it had no charge in it, and my case was nearly full, having about 80% charge left in it. Now this wasnt the worst thing ever, because I stillhad my left one that had almost full charge in it despite not charging for those 2 or so hours in between using them. Another instance was when I noticed my AirPods werent connecting. Seeing as my AirPods were at full charge, and had sat on the charger all night I just assumed it was a bug or glitch that I could resolve by disconnecting and reconnecting my AirPods. I soon came to realize that this wasnt just a quick solve. I could not get my airpods to connect, even after days, until I miraculously managed to connect them. Now in this time, I made sure I wasnt near any Bluetooth devices that my airpods could otherwise connect to, so I am still unsure why they wouldnt connect for that period of time. Anyways thats my terrible experience with airpod pros, and why I recommend you not to buy them. Hopefully this review was thorough, I took my time considering I have 2.5 more hours ahead of me in the car.

Pros: The AirPods Pro 2 are spectacular in many aspects. Firstly, these are incredibly easy to use and convenient, especially within the Apple Ecosystem. A simple one time pair is all you need, and from then connection is as simple as just opening the lid and putting them in your ears. Comfort is a major asset to the AirPods Pro 2. With a new XS tip in the box, these fit perfectly in my ears, almost feeling like they're not even there. If you need a different fit, the box also comes with small, medium and large tips (medium is already on the AirPods). Customization allows for comfort for anyone regardless of your ears.Noise cancellation is undoubltably an improvement over the first generation AirPods Pro and also AirPods Max. Customization allows for comfort for anyone regardless of your ears.Noise cancellation is undoubltably an improvement over the first generation AirPods Pro and also AirPods Max. It's difficult to determine if it's exactly x2 better, but many sounds that we're simply dampened before are almost fully cancelled out, and lower frequency sounds are mostly completely cancelled. I also noticed improvements with Transparancy mode, sounding even more realistic and like the AirPods aren't even in my ears. It's amazing. Adaptive Transparancy mode was also very effective, especially with extremely loud and sudden noises that can damage your hearing without Adaptive Transparancy on.Sound quality is spectacular. It's undoubtably an improvement over AirPods Pro 1 and any other AirPods models (even the AirPods Max in my opinion), and competes very well with other wireless earbuds in or above the price range. Bass is incredibly rich and was the first thing I noticed. Volume can reach even louder, and the sound profile is to my liking. Battery Life was also a welcomed improvement, lasting that ever bit longer (Around 1.5 hr) which can be extremely noticeable and crucial in many different situations. Charging with an Apple Watch charger can be extremely convenient if you don't have the magsafe charger and wish to just use one charger for both devices (if you own an Apple Watch too).Overall, I would recommend these for anyone looking to buy their first ever pair of AirPods Pro. If you're already in the Apple Ecosystem, I would recommend these over any other wireless earbuds, due to their immediate convenience and ease of use. For anyone with existing AirPods, you'll need to decide if you're having any limitations with your current ones as these limitations will very likely be alliviated with the 2nd Gen Pros.Cons: The microphone quality (on Phone calls) isn't as improved from previous AirPods as I would've wished, but nonetheless, is still completely fine.

These earbuds created some pressure in my ears that was very uncomfortable. This pressure and discomfort came when they were being used for their noise cancelling benefits. The issue with the pressure and discomfort felt in my ears, created the main issue for me. It was concerning that the product seemed to emitting some harmful waves through the device. I used just one earbud temporarily for a couple days to make calls but ultimately, I put them aside and haven't used them at all. The one earbud seems to be permanently static as well. Alot of money spent for these earbuds with the intention of utilizing noise canceling features to improve communications. It was a big waste of money for a very brief and irritating user experience with potentially harmful side affects.
Overall the sound quality out of these headphones is better than your average Bluetooth headphones that I’ve tried. Seamless connectivity makes them easy to pair and use on the go, plus with the Findmy functionality they’re easy to find when you inevitable let them sink in to your couch cushions or leave them in your car. Now for the cons:They are really uncomfortable. Something about either the case or the extra speaker in the front makes them sharp in your ear and eliminates any kind of long term usage due to pain.Personalized spatial audio is super buggy. You take a pic of your ear with the phone and the software make the spatial audio “conform to you” but it really just sounds like they turn up the simulated room size and reverb. Not to mention the “spatial audio” just puts your phone as a center point and simulates dynamic sound staging… poorly. It seems like if they were going to include this as a main selling point they should’ve put more development in to making it actually sound good. It does make certain songs that are already designed to have a dynamic sound stage better but for the most part it’s a gimmick that only half works the way it should. If you have an iPhone and want some AirPods I’d recommend the AirPod pros 2nd gen over these.
Purchased at JL Oxford St on Friday, the day of release. I had been thinking of buying Airpod Pro (1st Gen) previously, but was drawn by the 2x ANC (Active Noise Cancelling) on these (2nd Gen). I am glad I waited for these to come out. I am Autistic, which means I experience Sensory Overload, so ANC truly helps. I find the ANC on Airpod Pro (2nd Gen), highly effective - instantly blocks out all daily noise. For comparison, this ANC feels more complete and superior, than the ANC on my (still great) old clunky Bose QC35 II headphones. For Running though, I use Powerbeats Pro, as ear hooks feel more secure for me, than wearing Bose headphones or Airpods. I like how on these Airpod Pro (2nd Gen), they have touch/stem controls. For Running though, I use Powerbeats Pro, as ear hooks feel more secure for me, than wearing Bose headphones or Airpods. I like how on these Airpod Pro (2nd Gen), they have touch/stem controls. There is a reassuring, subtle Click sound upon gently pressing a stem, so you know it recognised each press. Easy to toggle between full ANC and Transparency/ambient sound modes. Akin to buttons on Powerbeats Pro, in that the stems can control Volume - slide finger up/down stem; Music playback - press stem 1x to Play/Stop; 2x to Skip Forward; 3x to Skip Back a track. I do not have Airpod Pro (1st Gen), so am unsure how they may compare in use. However, I could not be happier with these (2nd Gen). Overall, I find them intuitive to use with my iPhone; lightweight and comfortable to wear - I even wear them whilst sleeping now; compact and portable (no more carrying around clunky Bose headphones); with fast wireless charging and great battery life. Bit steep in price for me, but well worth it - for effective, portable ANC.
Im not sure what to add that you might not have already read on a professional tech review site. The quality of noise cancelling is superb, its smooth and not abrupt when putting the buds in nor does it ever give you a blocked ear feeling like cheaper ANC earphones. Transparency mode actually works unlike competitors where it sounds like a robotic recording of the sounds around you piped in your ear. The fit is very comfortable, helped by the new XS tip size and that the stems reduce the bulk of the part that sits in your ear - but they can wiggle out a bit due to the gentle/light fit. The sound quality is fine, nothing I havent heard before on my Galaxy Buds (which were great with an iPhone until mine went missing and Samsung has now discontinued them - Samsungs newer ANC models no longer support the iOS app and have worse battery life than AirPods Pro 2 so why bother - the whole reason I preferred the old Samsungs is long battery life and iOS app support). The smart new usability features over the old AirPods Pro are the biggest physical difference really. They finally have swipe volume control, which I was surprised to find out older AirPods never had. Unlike my old Samsung ones, the controls are on the stem so you dont have to uncomfortably jam them in your ear just to use the controls. They have a speaker on the charging case if theyre misplaced, can be precisely located like AirTags, have support for using an Apple Watch charger in addition to MagSafe and standard wireless chargers and a lanyard loop if you want it. Only miss is using Lightning not USB-C, but otherwise a much smarter and user friendly case than competing products. Overall it performs as good premium set of ANC earbuds should with the addition of a lot of useful day to day practical features in the case - but of course youd only be able to take full advantage of the latter with the app controls on an iPhone. A good choice if youre new to AirPods but I would hold off if I had the already-good previous generation that already had decent noise cancelling.

These are superb. They render high quality classical music and top quality recordings so well. They outclass the over ear Sony XM5s by a country mile, they are cheaper, and you don't look like a Cyberman when travelling,The Sony's are good have an artificial exaggerated bass that to be brutal is both flabby and lacking articulation. Even without a top end hiRes lossless DAC, which I use with the Beyers, the new AirPod Pro 2 can find things in lossless tracks that I have not heard before and yet they are Bluetooth therefore not true HiRes. That's an astonishing achievement technically. If you have newer Apple gear, get a set of these to transform your personal listening. Even with non Apple gear you can benefit from the buds outstanding quality but you won't get things like spatial audio etc.I cannot rave about these enough. If they last as long as my older ones I'll be happy. There are a couple of family members in the queue for those which are still good. These are just brilliant.I noted someone commenting on the build quality. Not in my case. Beautiful build and super comfy.Make sure you do the ear fit test to get the best out of them.
