Just the best sounding option out there in my opinion. As an all-Apple user of course you may say I’m biased but you can’t beat the seamlessness of their products is hard to beat. I wouldn’t wear them to go out running because they slip and and get crazy sweaty, especially if you have silicone guards over the earpieces.I also love how you can interchange the colors with accessories. The only criticism I have is they’re always on until you put them in the case or get an aftermarket stand. What this means is they’re in low power mode so the battery will drain much slower. I would much rather have preferred an on/off button.Got mine refurbished and they look and work perfectly.

PLEASEEEE OPEN THE BOX BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE STORE! My family and I are avid target shoppers and ordered these for drive up. Once we got home and opened them, they were NOT Apple headphones and were covered in super glue and dirt! We immediately called the store to let them know we were on the way with them and I was appalled to have the supervisor on duty say they aren’t going to accept the return because there’s a scam going around!! It took hours on the phone and in store for corporate to make it right. I am still in disbelief that this happened. I was so close to not having my $500 plus dollars refunded for a product I didn’t receive. So disappointed that we even had to go through that. If this is such an issue, figure it out target !

I wanted some noise canceling over ear headphones for work so my dad got me these for my birthday. I understand why he did because he knows I love Apple, and in the past when I've gone with another brand due to price or whatever, I've always wished I'd just gone with Apple to begin with. NOT THIS TIME. These headphones are riotiously uncomfortable. If you wear glasses, forget about it; I only wear them with my contacts in, which is a laugh, and even then they give me headaches. Sound is meh. Noise cancellation meh. The case is a joke. Battery life is NOT as good as they claim it is. And all this for a measely $500! Do yourself a favor and go with another brand like Sony, Bose, or even Beats. Don't waste your money!

I bought these as a gift for my daughter. She can be really funny with earphones and usually wears her Apple AirPods however she wanted something better noise cancelling for when she’s at competitions to help her zone out and relax before competing. These have been fantastic! Highly recommend these, they are light weight and super comfortable. She wears these all the time at home and in the ice rink/competitions/test sessions - the helps her to calm her mind and nerves better than her AirPods ever did and she will not leave the house without them - except I don’t allow her to take these to high school. I’m really happy with this purchase and would recommend to everyone. I even got to try them out and loved them.

One thing to be on the look out for is buying them open boxed. I purchased a pair from best buy to save a bit of money but the person who returned them did not remove them from their "find my" app in Apple. Resetting the headphones to factory settings does not remove the previous user and you will need to pair them to your phone every time you use them. It gets pretty annoying. Despite the new Sonos Ace having newer bells and whistles as far as tech advancements, the noise cancellation and sound quality is better in my opinion on the AirPods Max still to this day not to mention better looks, build quality and working more seamlessly in the Apple ecosystem. All in all its impressive for a headphone from 2020 to be more than holding its own against newer headphone competitors that have gone through 2 new iterations since then. The minor refresh these new AirPod maxes got are frankly all they needed considering how Apple knocked it out of the park the first time with these. If you are upgrading for usb c and the new colors or you want to get these for the first time, these are definitely a must buy.
Obviously there's nothing new here, headphones are the same they were on drop just in new colors, and with a USB-C cable. The headphones themselves were good a few years ago, they've been a little dated now. The sound quality 2 years ago that you pulled out of these made them slightly overpriced, but worth the money just because of how well they worked within its ecosystem. Now the sound quality is beaten by some entry level earbuds/headphones. If you're using an older pair of AirPods, and haven't used actual good sounding headphones these will sound amazing. If you're an audiophile these are going to feel dated and extremely overpriced at this point. It's slightly insulting for Apple to "slap lipstick on an old hog" but that's what they did here.
Great looking headphones and the new blue colour is perfect. Just light enough in colour to make them stylish. They fit nicely on the head and the adjustments are so easy to make. When I put them on, they did squeeze my head a little too much, but that feeling disappeared after a couple hours of use.No other over-ear headphones work the way these do. Sound quality is brilliant and the controls are so intuitive. The build quality is top of the line and the integration with my Apple TV, MacBook, iPhone, and iPad is perfect.I did want to buy these in 2020, but I'm glad I waited until the USB-C version. They are pricy, but if you have the money to spare they are great additions.
