It’s quite obnoxious hearing others music outside of their headphones and thus I wouldn’t want to be the person wearing said headphones. With the new Bluetooth headphone options on the market, ditch the AirPods (1st generation) and invest your money in better and advanced quality from other options such as the AirPods Pro or AirPods third generation. While the price for such options are a bit more expensive, the quality will prove itself in the long run rather than spending your money on mediocre, at best, headphones.

Adaptive Transparancy mode was also very effective, especially with extremely loud and sudden noises that can damage your hearing without Adaptive Transparancy on.Sound quality is spectacular. It's undoubtably an improvement over AirPods Pro 1 and any other AirPods models (even the AirPods Max in my opinion), and competes very well with other wireless earbuds in or above the price range. Bass is incredibly rich and was the first thing I noticed. Volume can reach even louder, and the sound profile is to my liking. Battery Life was also a welcomed improvement, lasting that ever bit longer (Around 1.5 hr) which can be extremely noticeable and crucial in many different situations. Charging with an Apple Watch charger can be extremely convenient if you don't have the magsafe charger and wish to just use one charger for both devices (if you own an Apple Watch too).Overall, I would recommend these for anyone looking to buy their first ever pair of AirPods Pro. If you're already in the Apple Ecosystem, I would recommend these over any other wireless earbuds, due to their immediate convenience and ease of use. For anyone with existing AirPods, you'll need to decide if you're having any limitations with your current ones as these limitations will very likely be alliviated with the 2nd Gen Pros.Cons: The microphone quality (on Phone calls) isn't as improved from previous AirPods as I would've wished, but nonetheless, is still completely fine.

Slept with them one night for some binaural sounds and they did not fall out nor cause much discomfort.The ANC is very good, yet to test while cycling though but they helped with building noise. Great for ear protection in general especially when combined with health app and dynamic protection, loud cars/motorbikes while cycling will destroy earholes, so one of the main reasons I finally decided to purchase these over the new 3rd gen.Only other critique would be that white silicon ear pieces really will get nasty after a time of usage, you will permanently be cleaning your earholes and silicon tips while using Airpods. There are some aftermarket alternatives but I really wish Apple would start making darker colours the standard for the sake of non-discolouration.Overall I am quite pleased with this purchase and I am finding myself using them over my high quality gaming headphones for everything from online meetings to listening to music and watching series.

The fit is very comfortable, helped by the new XS tip size and that the stems reduce the bulk of the part that sits in your ear - but they can wiggle out a bit due to the gentle/light fit. They have a speaker on the charging case if theyre misplaced, can be precisely located like AirTags, have support for using an Apple Watch charger in addition to MagSafe and standard wireless chargers and a lanyard loop if you want it. Only miss is using Lightning not USB-C, but otherwise a much smarter and user friendly case than competing products. Overall it performs as good premium set of ANC earbuds should with the addition of a lot of useful day to day practical features in the case - but of course youd only be able to take full advantage of the latter with the app controls on an iPhone. A good choice if youre new to AirPods but I would hold off if I had the already-good previous generation that already had decent noise cancelling.
