I bought this as soon as they were available, Even though many things had been upgraded from the M3 the price remained the same, which was great news. The computer arrived exactly when Very said it would. The looks and the speed of the computer are very good.

The M4 is no doubt a great product, but the migration from an old Mac was not so easy. Actually it turned out to be easy, once I finally had help from a senior programmer at Apple, but to get a hold of one, turned out to be a lengthy process. That should be easier. I had a fabulous new computer but spent anxious 4 days before I got the help that I needed. The iStore would have helped, but trecking there with 2 iMacs and all the cabling that goes with it is very difficult at my age. Online help (audio or video) should be offered right at the point of purchase in my opinion. I felt let down. But all ok now. And this is something they can easily improve.

Super fast and powerful, check. The I/O is surprisingly limited especially on an iMac. The desktops have always kept more ports on them than the portables. The long over due center stage camera is my favorite feature.

It's been absolutely incredible. We initially purchased the M3 iMac a couple of months ago due to hiccups due to the shortage of memory. We waited 3 months for the new M4 ones, and it was certainly worth it. It's bleeding edge; it hasn't slowed down or throttled once. Performance aside, it's an amazing package. The 24-inch screen is flawless for our needs, with colors that pop and an amazing resolution. Not to mention the speakers, microphone, and updated webcam. Additionally, Apple has finally made the long-overdue change of Lightning to USB-C on the accessories, which is nice. Overall, it's a spectacular computer that honestly has become the centerpiece of our living room. (Did I mention this was proofreaded by Apple Intelligence?)

I have been using my 2018 MacBook Pro for several years and it was pretty sluggish in processing photos. And I realized that 90% of the time I was sitting at my desk at home doing my photo editing. So, why not a desktop? I was dong to get the M3 version, but would have had to add more memory, etc. And then the M4 came out. I love it and it is so much quicker than my Intel MacBook. I still have several external drives, but they work very well with the Thunderbolt 4 ports. And purchasing it through B&H was great. It arrived on Nov 18, the same day that Apple had it in stores.
It’s beautiful and works like a dream. I’ve done some streaming and played some games. I plan to work on some video editing soon.
Love this product, it works very quick and actually is easy to use. I prefer apple lroduct over anything
