Apple iPad 10.2" 8th Gen (2020) (WiFi, 32GB, Gold)

This tablet is fantastic. It’s older, but still works just as good as my iPhone 13 Pro Max. I don’t see a difference in screen quality, or functionality. The only difference is size. This tablet is fantastic for travelling, I own 2 of them and they keep my kids busy for hours on long road trips. I like using my tablet for online shopping as well, the products are easier to see on the 10 inch screen. If you are looking for a tablet that functions and doesn’t break the bank, this is the one I will recommend.

I’m a die hard Apple phone fan but I’ve ever had an IPad before. I decided to go with a more simplified version for my first go a round just in case I wasn’t impressed. But, I was!!! I L🖤VE my IPad and use it everyday! I have replaced most of what I did on my phone, ( app wise) and now am able to do it on my IPad but on a much larger screen. There are so so many things the iPad can do that the iPhone wasn’t able to do and your constantly being sent new tips and tricks that you can use that make things easier or create shortcuts. The camera on the iPad is outstanding compared to my phone and takes 100% better pictures. I love the larger size of this iPad. I was previously using the iPad Air and decided I needed a new one. It’s fast and has an A13 chip and an ultra wide front camera. It takes great photos and is an improvement over my previous IPad. The graphics are nice and clear and the colors are vibrant. I bought the model with 256 GB of storage. The battery life is brilliant and lasts for a few days for me on a single charge. I use my IPad for FaceTime and the quality is great. I also play games and watch movies, as well as take notes and check emails. Definitely recommend

Affordable, easy to use, fast - repeat ipad buy

My first ever tablet was the ipad2. 8 years later, the iOS 9 is not keeping up with apps, websites, etc. so I bought this 8th generation iPad. Nothing negative to say about this iPad EXCEPT that while Apple increased the overall length and retracted the bezels to give us the 10.2 inch screen, they shortened the overall width (see my picture with the 9.7 inch ipad2 side by side), so the half inch increase in screen size does not do jack squat to give you the feeling that you are looking at a significantly larger screen! Daughter loves it!

I got this for my daughter with the iPhone promotion, and she gets an iPad and I get to try the cute little iPhone 13 mini.My daughter has been enjoying this tablet. I thought that maybe 64 GB might not be enough, but it has not been a problem yet. She is able to play roblox just fine on it, and she can start practicing digital drawing. She a great pen to paper type of artist, so I'm excited to see what she can create digitally, as there are no limitations like supplies besides your imagination. All she really needs is the iPad and the Pen, and if she wanted to get fancier then pen tips or even different pens and the matte screen protectors for that more paper feel.I'm glad she is enjoying it. I also thoght that since it was an older generation of iPad that it might be slow or not have as many features as the newer models, but honestly there probably isn't evena huge different from this one than the next generation.

Don’t get this!

I thought it would be a good idea to get a refurbished iPad for college, but I was deeply disappointed in this product. The outer shell was damaged with pry marks from removing the screen. There was excess glue with hair on the edge of the screen and on the screen. The screen was replaced with a plastic one where you could hardly glide your finger on it. It wouldn’t fully charge only up to 57% and was very very slow. Would not recommend. Get ur refurbished items off of apples website! More reliable!

Fun toy to have

I must say im a samsung person never owned an apple product until this. People actually shocked i bought one. It was a great deal for price and samsung hasnt had a cellular version tablet that has decent anything under 600. I was able to use coupons etc and get for 580 with apple care plan. Ive been have fun playing with it. Its been a learning curve but pretty easy to figure out. I was always told you had to buy apps etc. Nah ive found everything free. Even great drawing apps. Its really fast responsive and can do so much. Very happy with purchase.

Great iPad - 9th Generation

Not every new generation is an improvement for everyone. I decided that the Apple iPad (9th Generation) was a better fit for my use. Unless you are a "gamer" or have a need for the "latest and greatest" this iPad is a powerful and more reasonably priced option. The camera is fantastic. The thumb print ID makes it very secure. And it will satisfy all but the most demanding with years of super service. This was a long term decision for me, as it replaces an 8 year old iPad.

I am enjoying it!

I have still to explore a lot of features.I like GarageBand for tuning my musical instruments and trying out snatches of tunes, the camera seems excellent quality for zooms and photos. With stopwatch and timer it replaces other objects. It fits just into the back pocket of my rucksack and isn't too heavy to carry unlike my laptop.John Lewis were able to set it up with both my email accounts so I never feel out of touch.I am looking forward to trying Siri and adding Kindle, to use it for easy reading. I already use YouTube for church and entertainment - a clear picture and with my earpieces great sound.Downsides? Pros: The battery life is excellent on this iPad. Better than others I’ve had in the past. I don’t use it for anything too ambitious just general browsing, social media, emailing etc and it’s fab. I only need to charge every once a week. It’s Very light to hold so no aching hands and wrist. Very Easy to use. It’s fab. Brilliant charger included with the iPad (USBC) it charges the iPad to 100% in no time at all.Cons: No, nothing that I can think of. A free Apple pen in the box would be nice but that’s not going to happen!
