Battery life on this is amazing ! I have not charged this for a couple of days and still at good battery. The iPad is sleek, it’s not heavy, and easy to carry around anywhere. The speakers are also pretty decent. The camera quality is great just like an iPhone. The display and picture quality is excellent as well. The OS doesn’t lag. It’s great performance just like an iPhone. Definitely happy with my purchase.

I like my iPad , it’s comfort for searching the internet , doing taxes and just an easy item to travel with . The uploading downloading times are fast and it processes speed wise pretty quickly for me . I am on it to do my household essentials shopping and make lists / run though emails . It’s comfortable when you can sit on the couch and just scroll through items with a larger screen verses your phone. I think it’s a good investment for those that don’t want to buy a full laptop /computer . It’s good for basics abd nothing super fancy.

The Apple iPad 3rd Generation, released in 2012, impressed users with its stunning Retina display and improved performance. The high-resolution screen provided crisp visuals, making it ideal for multimedia consumption. The upgraded A5X chip delivered smooth and responsive performance for various applications. However, with advancements in technology since then, it may lack some features found in more recent models. Nonetheless, during its time, the 3rd Generation iPad was a solid choice for users seeking a reliable and powerful tablet.

I have had several ipads in the past so decided to update my wifes one. This is an ipad air 64gb 5th generation so many of the features had changed such as the fingerprint recognition now placed at the top of the pad.The screen is much better, larger with clear definition, very fast and responsive, light in weight so easy to hold for extended periods of time.Transfering the data over is a bit of a faff, constantly requiring the fingerprint to be used and requesting passwords to be entered, I get the enhanced security but when you are downloading from the cloud that you have already verified seemed a bit frustrating. However, it is a great bit of kit from Apple as always, I did consider another well known brand but stuck with what we know, in addition John Lewis ... MoreI have had several ipads in the past so decided to update my wifes one. I bought the IPad Air to replace my iPad Pro which was 3 years old. I went for the air for the price but mainly because the size is almost identical to my old pro. The screen is much clearer and with less bezel there is more to see. The actions are quick and slick but there are some cons for me. Firstly, the battery life is not quite as good as my old pro. I generally get a day of use as opposed to 2 plus days on the older iPad. This may be down to the settings, I have only been using it a few weeks, so time will tell. The other con for me is the lack of Home Screen button, I keep touching the fingerprint button and the iPad does what it's by supposed to do, turn off! Drives me mad but I will get used to swiping up I guess. Overall I am very pleased with my new iPad ... MoreI bought the IPad Air to replace my iPad Pro which was 3 years old. Pleased with the iPad Air which replaced my iPad Pro 2017 the air comes with plenty of processor power with the M1 chip. its has double the ram of the pro at which had no issues. The screen has the same Retina display the pixels are slightly less from the pro but unless you use a lot of video apps I don't think your notice. The layout has moved the Camera which has moved to the side unsure reasons the home button has moved and the build In touch button on side. I have gone for the 64 basic model as the price of the pro makes it very expensive but I would recommend going for the larger version if you are used to having a lot of apps as it's very tight on your space over all the update has been posstive.
I’ve been an iPad Air user for years. I currently have the 3rd gen but the battery is failing therefore thought I’d upgrade to the newest version. As soon as I started setting it up I could feel there was a clicking noise coming from the case itself. Holding with both hands and moving my hands softly resulted in an audible clicking noise. It even felt as though the case wasn’t strong and from light touch there was flex. I lay it face down and pressed the back of the casing in different places and again it would make a clicking noise!I bought my daughter the purple version 6 months ago and hers seems far sturdier and doesn’t have this issue!I’ve given it full marks for everything apart from the quality as that’s what the issue is.
My child is really into digital drawing. We looked at a number of different products and although this was a bit more pricy, it was also more flexible, they could use more drawing apps on it, and seamlessly work from their laptop, phone or on the iPad. I'm also hoping for the same longevity we had from our previous one (bought in 2014 and still works). The screen on this one is perfect for drawing, playing games and viewing videos. It's very easy to set up and use, and the touch screen is responsive. Also, other pens, besides Apple pens, work very well on this iPad. We've only had this iPad for a couple of months and so far haven't seen any downsides. I guess my only criticism is the price, but my Apple products do last longer than others, so worth the extra.
Noticeably larger screen than base model iPad.Easy set up - replicating apps etc. from previous iPad.Sharing passwords and settings across devices (iPhone + iPad) works smoothly and saves a lot of hassle.Centre Stage during video calls is a clever and useful feature.Glad to have opted for the M1 chip - hopefully providing a degree of future-proofing.Great battery life so far.Service and delivery from John Lewis all good - as ever.
I originally bought this iPad to assist me in me job as I needed something I could both type documents on (I have a Logitech keyboard case) and also design/graphic design/draw on. I have since found myself using it for note keeping, watching movies, gaming, podcasts and much more. It's such a versatile device with incredible sound and picture. Great for both work and leisure. I now use it daily, having only relied on a phone and occasionally a laptop before. I could not be without it.
