Apple iPad 7 10.2 Wifi & Cellular 128GB Space Grey - Good - Pre-Owned

This iPad is very good. The screen resolution is great. It was fast. Easy to carry around, take on a plane and traveling. The problem is I turned it off and the next time it didn’t turn on again. I tried to charge it (even though I knew it was charged already) and a few other things. I then took it in to the Apple Store. They said the screen died. It was 3 weeks and 2 days passed the warranty date (I also had apple care to extend it) I was not happy to say the least! So it was good while it lasted. I haven’t bought another yet and not sure if I’ll buy another iPad or Samsung. Was mine a rare occurrence? I don’t know.

Absolutely PERFECT!

Great product that works flawlessly! I got this as a gift for my boyfriend who loves to draw. I did the entire setup for him so that I could go ahead & pair his new Apple Pencil too. The setup went smoothly & everything works perfectly. There is not visible damage or scratches to the screen or back. I’m so excited to see how he likes it. Battery life is OUTSTANDING compared to my iPad mini from a few years ago & my current iPhone 12. Just note that it doesn’t come in original Apple packaging, which I didn’t care about but someone reading this might! :)) I would definitely recommend this to anyone on the fence.

I bought new iPad with protective cover but just noticed the cover didnt prevent a small crack in the corner, caused by a drop. I like minimalist case style, but need the stronger case I had for previous. Ill see how good the protection against accidental damage is. Strangely, it doesnt look like the picture, but I like the hidden camera, without the wide silver bar shown in advertising. Havent had it long enough for full evaluation. Researching model, I ran across lower price at Amazon.

I replaced by older model 2014 with this basic model, as it could no longer be updated with the latest software, and I was unable to continue using a number of apps that required more recent software versions. It works well, and I do like the touch ID access. It is a little bit larger than my previous version, so needed to purchase a new case, too. I also like that it has the same headphone jack as my previous one and the same lightning charging cable. My only complaint is that I need to charge it nearly every day.

Died After 1.5 years.

I bought this iPad for college because it was the best I could afford. To say the least, this iPad was amazing for what I paid for. It was not a pro but it did everything I needed. I used drawing apps like Procreate & Adobe Illustrator. Note taking apps too! 32GB is not enough storage either but if you manage the apps you need, it should work you well.The reason why it has two stars is because Apple's most recent tech is better than the older stuff like this 7th gen. Ipad 7th generation life-cycle is max 2 years. After that it will turn off

I bought my ipad 7th generation in January 2020. It was a pretty good tablet. I used it mainly to play games, and it ran smoothly. There wasn't any problem till now. Today I checked there was a new update available so I installed it. It was going fine till it restarted (all updates requires restart) It turned off and never turned on again. There was sufficient battery before the update so low battery was not a reason for it to shut off. Connected with multiple working chargers, PC, did hard resets and even took it to the apple customer service center and was informed it wasnt a software issue but a hardware problem and the ipad couldnt be repaired. I googled why my ipad became dead after the update: Apparently, this issue was a common issue among this model, a2197 and cannot be fixed. I am pretty upset that it cannot be resurrected cause apple choose to replace its products not repair. The idea behind this is to increase profits by selling new models not repairing old ones. Apple wanted to make the planet a better place by using recycled objects. But how does it plan to handle unrepairable devices ??? Or does it sell those irrepairable devices as new ones just to make customers pay for old things ??

As a lifelong Windows and Android user, I've always felt that the Apple ecosystem was just not for me -- it didn't offer enough customization and control over things that I wanted to be able to have control over. That's why I decided to compromise: instead of trading in my Android phone or Windows PC for an iPhone or MacBook, I would just get an iPad to replace my old 2013 Nexus 7 tablet. There are many things that Apple does right, and the combination of speed, price, and build quality on this iPad is one of those. Does the non-laminated screen feel a bit plasticy and thin? Sure, and the A10 processor is now a few years old as well. But honestly, considering the price of this 7th Gen iPad, the amount of processing power you get and the overall build quality of this iPad, I feel like this is a steal, even for an Apple device. Aside from the occasional slowdown or glitch, the UI moves smoothly and seamlessly, apps open and switch quickly, and the screen is a beauty even without all the extra goodness of the Air or Pro lines. The speakers can get decently loud (though they are only on the bottom of the iPad, so no true stereo sound) and WiFi/Bluetooth connectivity is strong. For video streaming, Netflix, Youtube, music, internet browsing, email, and casual games, you really can't go wrong with this lowest-tier iPad. Will they be replacing it with a newer, faster, better one in a year or less? Of course! But that's going to be the case WHENEVER you buy one, and I'd rather have a lesser something I can use now than not have anything to use while waiting for something better. So yes, all in all I am quite happy with my purchase, plus it's helped me overcome some of my anti-Apple bias. I still doubt I will ever use an iPhone myself, but at least I won't embarrass my daughter with my green bubbles anymore!

Not as advertised...Never again.

Price was great if I got what was advertised but I did not. I really needed a cellular capable ipad and it was clearly stated in the items description that it was capable. When I received the item it was clearly not cellular capable. The rep tried to argue that I made the mistake and purchased a wifi only unit until I sent them and highlighted that it clearly stated it was cellular capable. They then tried to get me to send it back and only after that would they refund me for their mistake on the off chance it would be refunded before Christmas and I could get another one ordered for my child. Not a happy person right now as I could have had a better model for just little more from a more reputable company. My bad...never again. Be warned.

Very satisfied with the refurbished model

I bought this product in refurbished condition for my girlfriend and it's worked out great! She didn't need the absolute newest version and won't use the camera function so a slightly older model would fit just fine.Everything works like new and the physical condition of the unit was also like new with no noticeable defects or blemishes. The screen is free of scratches or marks and the performance is snappy and responsive.Overall, a good purchase. My girlfriend is very happy with her iPad and I was able to save some money on a refurbished, prior model.

iPad (7th Generation) Has Manufacturer Defect

I purchased an iPad (7th Generation) July of 2020. Nearly exactly two years after purchasing it, immediately after doing an update, I can no longer use it. Battery was fully charged before installing update but suddenly the iPad no longer had battery. Nor would it accept charge when I plugged it in to recharge what I thought was a full battery. I've gone back and forth with Apple's Tech Support, in-store so called "genius" reps, and even with a particular 3rd party vendor and their "geek squad". All have confirmed it's an internal issue but since the iPad is conveniently past the manufactures warranty, Apple's only solution is to replace it at my expense.
