Apple iPad Air 10.5" Wifi + Cellular 64GB Space Grey

This model (3rd generation) is so much lighter and thinner than my previous iPad. It’s my go to device for lounging around and surfing the net, shopping, emailing and social media checking. I’m on it right now. It’s the last generation with a headphone jack (which I LOVE!). That’s why I bought it. Apple, please bring back the headphone jack. We don’t all want to use (and lose or have to charge) Bluetooth earbuds.

My husband and I each have an Apple IPad for our family business. This tablet runs on the IOS operating system. We own IPhone 12 minis and I used to own a MacBook. Once you have used this operating system, you can use any of these products. They are all pretty much the same, just different sizes. This screen is 10.1 inches and is so easy to use. My kids and I love watching movies on the large screen. This IPad in particular has a lot of space on it, which is great for our business, as we take alot of pictures. I would recommend Apple products! They are so easy to use and well made.

Basic word documents are easy but PowerPoint and excel are a pain in the butt. Charging the Apple Pencil in the IPad itself takes about 15 minutes but the positioning is overall a terrible design. It sticks out of the side like a projectile. Also the sound quality is good, but it isn’t the best and so is the camera. Overall though, it was a great purchase and I do recommend it! It completely replaced my old laptop.

I had an IPad Air 2 when they first were released and I loved it. It lasted me for years. When I found out they released the new iPad Air, I was so excited and definitely purchased it when it was released. It has been the best, good battery life, and just has everything for my everyday productivity. Also, the new colors they released are beautiful, mine is the baby blue color.

I got this 7 months ago. So much better than my 2nd gen iPad and so much quicker. I already have a wireless keyboard for my iMac, so needn’t of needed to by one, but I purchased a 2nd gen pencil. As I love to draw and do arty stuff. The iPad and pencil together are fab. Never have I ever thought I’d get into digital drawing, but I’m now loving it. I still refer back to the traditional way, but on the whole with the iPad it self, the display and everything else is just great!! I am an Apple lover and when I got my iPhone 12, I knew immediately that I wanted to get the iPad as well! Doesn’t take long either to charge, in comparison to my old ipad. So quick, even when the pencil is connected to it.

Excellent - but it costs more (Apple)

We bought this iPad Air as a replacement for an android tablet and to work alongside our familys current iPhones. We are careful when making any large purchases and tend to keep them until they dont work, rather than constantly buying the latest products. So we decided to buy this iPad Air because we read it had the right mix of features e.g. Apple A12 processor, 256gb storage, etc. to give us the longer use we wanted from it. We have now used it every day for two weeks and we are extremely pleased with it as it is matches the general pattern of comments made in other user reviews: light, fast, user intuitive, 10 hours battery, wonderful display and syncing the information and settings with our iPhones couldnt have been easier. For those not having used Apple before we would suggest a) using a 100% rated eBay seller with a track history (we saved approximately 90 on the current retail price) b) expect to spend 30 minutes on set up and synchronisation and c) appreciate that the inevitable premium paid for Apple is not just for the fashion and style conscious segment of the population. It is for the excellent back up provided by Apple Support, the innate user intuitive design (always easy to use and a naturally lighter and faster OS) and for the knowledge that when you are accessing your documents, email, banking apps, etc - this is the No 1 security focused manufacturer (when comparing the manufacturers not just on their history of security breaches but on their approach to issuing new OS updates, security updates and patches - in terms of both frequency and speed of issue). Geek Squad Refurbished iPad is Unreliable

Geek Squad Refurbished is not reliable. Defective LCD screen (with colored vertical lines down the screen) developed after 2 months after purchase. This LCD problem is a defect that is fairly common in iPads, yet Best buy Geek Squad refused to fix it. By about a month after purchase, the Battery was lasting less time and would take longer to charge. ONLY 15 Day return policy is not enough time to recognize these problems. There is a 3 month manufacturers warranty but Best Buy will essentially do nothing about that for you, and if you want to honor that warranty, you have to go to Apple yourself and pay the price that comes with that.Also less importantly but still worth noting, it was a pain to get through Best Buy customer service throughout this whole process ... MoreGeek Squad Refurbished is not reliable. Shocked

I was extremely skeptical the entire time. It took 3 days for my item to finally ship and 6 days (including weekend) for it to finally arrive. Packaging was horrific; to the point where I was sure my iPad was severely damaged. I actually recorded myself opening the package because you could hear the iPad sliding all around inside. The iPad did not come in an Apple box but instead was wrapped with thin bubble wrap. Thankfully, no damage was done and the iPad basically looked brand new. I’ve had no issues with it and it’s almost been a month using it. I feel like I may have just gotten lucky with this purchase but not quite sure if I’ll be ordering from DailySales again.

I also had a surface pen and the apple pencil is much more responsive plus the iOS apps for drawing or writing are more optimized for their purpose so they work really well unlike the ungodly lags I experienced with surface pro, not to mention how heavy it was and the flimsy kickstand making me wary whenever I put too much pressure on the surface at the "studio" angle. The surface pen might be nice because you don't have to charge it but you gotta remember to stock up on its battery unlike the apple pencil which just needs to plug into the iOS device and it'll be 100% in a matter of 5 mins or so (I didn't pay attention but it definitely never took more than a few mins). It's like one use plastic bag vs re-usable bags for life, though you could could probably use a rechargeable battery but meh.Cons: Onscreen keyboard has no tab key unlike in the 11.5 inch ipad pro which I use frequently when typing down notes while using the pencil to draw diagram so an iOS problem which can be fixed by an app from the store but nothing beats quality from the original designed which is disappointing.It's iOS, no extra micro sd for extra space unlike most android based products, meaning you're limited to whatever storage you buy and the stock iCloud which requires getting a subscription if you want more space, though you could go free with other cloud storage providers who allows you more. There's also getting a usb stick but honestly not appealing if you want to charge your iPad or pencil because it only has 1 port for such task, and then you can probably get a splitter but I wanted to go paperless by purchasing this with the minimal amount of carrying stuff so that would add to it.I was bummed out to find that there was no 128 gb version for the 10.5 iPad air so I settled with 64 gb due to budget. So far it holds everything I need in terms of apps and files. You will be left with around 53 gb free storage out of 64 after the first setup with apps and software updates.

Terrible Software issues

Ive had the iPad for a little over a month. Was working fine at first. After a while my notes app files were erased and now it wont allow me to even go into the application. It keeps closing out. And then about two weeks later whenever I would type in a website on the safari browser it would just close out of the application. Every time. To where if I wanted to go to a website I would have to always go through my history or google search bar. And at times it would act like it didnt want to charge. That was very annoying, to think I was charging my iPad all night only to wake up and see it still wasnt charging. Last but not least the most recent incident that put the icing on the cake. When I went to turn it on after letting it charge the Apple logo appeared and then went to a black screen and now it just keeps rebooting itself to the Apple logo non stop to where I had to let it die in order for it to stop rebooting. I really loved this iPad at first everything was working perfectly. I was purchasing more apps and working on my art and then all of a sudden I started having software issues. Its sad I wasted nearly 500$ on this product only for it to die on me a month later . Is there a way I could send this one back for another one?
