Apple iPad Air (M2, 2024) - 11-inch - Wi-Fi - 512 GB - Blue

Got this for a family member. I caved on getting her the 11 inch & opted for the 13. It IS a big bit of real estate but as it's now her main device it makes sense. The screen resolution is very impressive & it copes well running several, resource heavy, apps simultaneously.This was a replacement for an older iPad which Apple bricked the battery on via an update( literally. Instantly & from there on the battery more than halved it's endurance). Not AO's fault of course. Excellent product.

Bought to replace previous iPad. The iPad Air does not disappoint. It is easy to set-up. It has a clear screen, is fast, reliable and takes sharp photos and is pleasant to use. The 11 inch screen is a good comfortable size for daily use.Disappointed that Apple have discontinued including the new USB-C power adapter in the box which adds extra expense. I would definitely recommend purchasing the Apple Smart Folio (although it is expensive) as it is a perfect fit and is extremely well designed by Apple and protects your iPad well.I use my iPad daily and now hardly use my Microsoft laptop as the iPad Air is far superior and easier to use.The order process & delivery by John Lewis was as usual fast and efficient and I was given a Pin Code for delivery so that gave me ... MoreBought to replace previous iPad. Familiarity breeds confidence!

I was a little apprehensive in setting the new iPad up and was intending asking my granddaughter for help but after viewing videos on YouTube managed the transfer from old to new without any problem. As expected 7 years on from my old iPad Apple have made a few refinements, larger screen, faster response times, longer battery life and shorter charging time to name but a few of the basics. A more sensitive Touch ID makes access quick and easy and movement between apps again is easily done. I'm unlikely to avail myself of all that this new iPad offers but am nevertheless very pleased with my purchase. For a iPad its really good

I have always bought the base iPad in the past, but this time decided the M2 CPU convinced me to buy the iPad Air. It is really good as a iPad very responsive. However, with that power comes some heat from back and sometimes it can be a little uncomfortable but not a lot. I bought a Magic Keyboard and basic Pencil USB C and here is where the iPad disappoints. Neither keyboard or Pencil really does much for the investment. It is still a iPad with a touch centric operating system that only partially improves buying a keyboard or Pencil. Actually I dropped the Pencil on a hard floor and it broke so their’s that. The keyboard is useful but an expensive addition if you buy an Apple one. Battery life is good, but not stellar. Would I spend the extra for a iPad Air? Great iPad

Great IPad. We have been a long time user of the iPad Pro series from the 9.3 to the 12.9. We just decided to upgrade our 12.9 3rd Gen Pro so we did a lot of internet reviews. What we found was very interesting, this IPad Air was VERY similiar to the iPad Pro with little differences and less $. After making our purchase we were very happy with the decision. This iPad is fast and for everyday use is superior. The only complaint was that we were forced into buying the NEW Apple Pencil. If you are a pencil user be ready for the extra expense. Lightweight and powerful tablet

All together is a very good and powerful product. I can perform many tasks without needing my PC. Surfing, watching videos, taking notes and developing photos with Lightroom for iPad works very well. Combined with a (pricey) Magic Keyboard is almost like having a very lightweight laptop.It misses a few “pro” features that justify the more expensive model. For example, the 120Hz variable refresh rate, and the Face ID unlock. However, are minimal aspects that is possible to ignore.For heavier duty operations I use the VMWare Horizon client to connect it to a Windows instance if needed, but is a very niche application.All and all, is a very capable and powerful powerhouse, I highly recommend it as an alternative to a laptop. First the bad news. If you are, like me, upgrading from a previous iPad and think your Apple Pencil will work, think again. You WILL need the Pro Pencil, you could get away with the USB C charging Pencil if on a budget. That said, the new iPad Air is fast, I'm comparing to my old iPad Pro, original, it's quite the jump. Better definition, faster screen movement, quicker access. The Pencil Pro is another jump and one I'm very happy with. Photos look great, games seem better and faster, messages and mail are quick. Attaching and editing photos with the apps is also a real boon. The ability to arrange apps is great and when switching from an existing Apple device, all you do is point the camera at the old device and that's it. Yes, I made the leap, and it was a good one. This little, well not so little, beauty was an invest I was looking forward to making. Set up from the old to the new was a cinch! The size is brilliant, it is 13" so be aware, larger than most tablets, but it is light! Don't go getting thick chunky covers else you'll lose the benefit of the lighter size. Fast, lightening fast in comparison and if you get this I highly recommend the Pencil Pro to go with. They work so well together. I swapped out my iPad mini and kept the old iPad Pro, I'm now considering getting the new 11" version and swapping out the Pro, though that is a consideration. This new IPad Air is definitely a top tier tablet. With this new enlarged screen and powerful chip, I am basically using this as a computer. Although yeah IPad OS is not the most friendly OS for using it as an actual computer, Apple has so many apps that can act as an alternative for you to stay productive and not feel blocked- at least for what I use this for.Battery life is crazy good. It can last for multiple days for normal browsing. I played a round of wild rift and from a full battery only 8% was used. My surface pro 9 could never. LOL.Durability. Well I went from the very first iPad Pro to this. I think Apple has proven that they build their products to last.
