Apple iPad mini 5 Wi-Fi - 5th generation - tablet - 64 GB - 7.9" IPS (2048 x 1536) - space grey
The Apple iPad mini 5 brings you everything you love about the previous iPad mini, but with loads of new tech built in. The mini 5 is the same size as the mini 4, so it's super thin and easy to hold – perfect for little hands if you want to share with the whole family. Except now you can use an Apple Pencil too. Open up your apps in a whole new way, and add more creativity to your iPad. You'll be able to handwrite your notes, sketch ideas and doodle when you're bored. Upgraded FaceTime camera The iPad mini also has an upgraded front camera. You'll be able to take better selfies, and your video quality on FaceTime calls will be better than ever. No more having to find good light. And let's not forget the 7.9†Retina Display. It's perfectly sized for browsing online, watching videos and sharing things with friends. Or just playing and replaying that really tricky level of your favourite game. Impressive speed and power Powered by Apple's A12 Bionic chip, the iPad mini 5 is up to three times faster than the mini 4. The A12 processor is able to learn from experience, so it will get to know how you use your iPad and make your experience even smoother. You've also got the power to use apps like Adobe Photoshop CC, as well as more demanding games. And thanks to iOS 12, you can use two apps at once on the same screen, drag and drop files, and loads more. You'll have all the same features of a full-sized iPad. All-day battery The mini 5 might have more power, but you're not losing out on battery. You've still got 10 hours – and that's when you're using it non-stop.

I've actually bought two of these both used. First one was run over by a car and still worked perfectly fine just had a tiny blotch in the middle of the retina display screen. Was also smashed repeatedly in a fit of rage (oops) and although not as lucky as the first time it still freaking works but now it needs a new screen most of the display was destroyed. Second one is still working running great. I bought a screen protector this time (note damage in picture is screen protector) and have had it for about 4-5 years now problems. I also own a purchased new full size iPad and the mini is still my favorite just wish updates were more available. Love it❤️

This is especially great for traveling or use in bed. Its portable and versatile. If you get a good case that comes with a viewing stand its even better. I use this everyday. Had the same vision for years and still going strong. Its just slower than before if you use it for browsing. But I only use my for watching videos/movies and to stream my favorite shows. Seems like evertime you update it it gets slower...X_x But I guess thats all things Apple for you. That is how they make money by making you buy a newer and faster version. Thats why I will never give it full stars. I actually got my as a gift from my fiance years ago. I dont think I would ever buy one myself lol He has always been a Apple fan down to his phone. I on the other hand am more of an android fan. ... MoreThis is especially great for traveling or use in bed. Its portable and versatile. Honestly being that I'm a huge tech nerd and am typically drawn to the android ecosystem and really am not a fan of Apple as a company, I wasn't sure how I would like this product. Now that I have the iPad mini in my hands i'm in love with it, between the amazing battery life and great app selection (for the most part more on this later) I have no major complaints. I'm currently writing this on the iPad mini on day three with no charge and i'm only at 54%. Really the only issue with choosing older Apple product is the stupid app support being dropped for older versions of Ios. This is the primary reason i bought this device. I have some older devices with the same issue, my original iPod touch and my iPhone 4s. But either way im happy to own such a lightweight ... MoreHonestly being that I'm a huge tech nerd and am typically drawn to the android ecosystem and really am not a fan of Apple as a company, I wasn't sure how I would like this product. Attention all tech enthusiasts! I have discovered a magical device that will make you want to shrink down to the size of a hobbit and enter a world of endless entertainment and productivity. Yes, you guessed it, I'm talking about the iPad Mini! First of all, let's talk about the size. It's like a little baby iPad that fits perfectly in the palm of your hand. It's so small and cute that you'll want to take it everywhere with you, like a little digital pet that you never have to feed or walk. And the speed? It's like the Flash on steroids. This thing can load websites and apps faster than a cheetah on roller skates. It's like the internet is bowing down to its speed and power. But the best part? The camera. This thing can load websites and apps faster than a cheetah on roller skates. It's like the internet is bowing down to its speed and power. But the best part? The camera. It's like having a mini professional photographer in your pocket. I'm pretty sure I could take a picture of a potato with this thing and it would look like a masterpiece worthy of the Louvre. Now, I know what you're thinking. "But what about the price? Is it worth it?" Let me put it this way: it's like having a mini computer that can fit in your pocket. Plus, it's so cute and stylish that you'll want to show it off to all your friends. So if you want a tablet that will make you feel like a tiny tech god, get yourself an iPad Mini. Just be prepared to have your mind blown by its speed, power, and cuteness. And who knows, you might even become a miniature influencer, taking pictures of tiny objects and making them look like masterpieces. The possibilities are endless!
I have owned iPad Minis since the first came out and have always appreciated them for their portability and ease of use due to their size. The Mini has always been my go to iPad. It is the one I use the most by far on a daily basis. So when the 6th gen Mini came out I purchased one in September of of 2021, but made the mistake of getting the 64GB model which is simply not enough anymore not even for a tablet. So I took the advantage of the recent Best Buy sale price and trade in offer and got a 45% discount on the 256GB model which is really the only one people should be considering. I really like the mini ipads. To me they are the perfect size. With that said Ive owned the ipad mini 2, ipad mini 4, and recently ipad mini 6. I tend to skip some generations as I dont feel the need to upgrade all the time. The previous models were work horses and provided me many hours of entertainment in games and videos. This ipad 6 is similar. I really love the size, and the weight of the product. The ipad mini 4 had the front bottom circular button, and the onoff switch on the top right hand corner of this device is reminiscent of that. I do like the touch ID. Its an awesome addition and easy to use. What I do not care for is the volume button on the top left hand corner. I did prefer the old location of it on the left hand side of the ipad. Its an awesome addition and easy to use. What I do not care for is the volume button on the top left hand corner. I did prefer the old location of it on the left hand side of the ipad. But I do understand that the apple pencil probably needed the left side to be empty. What I dont appreciate is the value put on this product. When I purchased the Ipad Mini 4, it was around the 400 range. Now this device is 650. The data did double from 128gb to 256gb, but still, 256gb is awful knowing that we can get 256gb micro sd cards for like 20 bucks. I wouldnt have minded the price tag IF the device worked well and the quality was good, but it doesnt and it isnt. There are a few issues with both software and build quality. 1. The jelly scroll everyone talks about, while not a huge issue, I dont think it should be that noticeable on this device. I compared both the ipad mini 4 and this ipad mini 6 side by side, and it was significantly worse on the ipad mini 6. 2. When I have the screen off and press on the screen, theres a screen pressure distortion that is quite noticeable. I had actually purchased two ipad mini 6 and the other one I had to return because the screen distortion spots were really bad. they showed up with the slightest pressure. 3. I dont know if anyone even uses the today column anymore. Its the column that comes up when you left swipe the home page. You can put a bunch of apps on it. But it is glitchy. I called Apple and tried to figure out why its glitching and how to fix it but honestly they said the today column shouldve been removed and was a remnant of an older iOS when we couldnt use widgets on the home screen. Which makes sense to me, it does seem sort of redundant with the ability to put widgets on the home screen. Yet... this feature is still there last I checked with iOS 15.6.1. 4. As I used this device more, I noticed sometimes when I had the keyboard sound on, the keyboard sound would be extremely loud and then soften as I type more with it. At first I thought it was me, and I had left the sound on extremely loud, but no. It wasnt me. It was either the sound board malfunctioning or the software being weird. I do really like the ipad mini 6 for, size, portability, ease of use. The build quality has taken a hit though, Im not sure if its due to covid and supply shortages or what. But Apple needs to keep up its game and not let quality slip. I put I recommend this item, but only because of the positives I stated.
This is the first refurbished item I’ve purchased and so far I couldn’t be more pleased! It arrived on time and came in mint condition with no visible scratches. I charged the battery to 100 percent. All apps came up too. And I appreciated the fact that it upgraded to the current apple operating system! And I really love the size. I got this to replace my Kindle. And the best of all was the price. I really didn’t want to pay the price for a new one nor did I want the jelly roll feature. And I still can use the Apple Pencil with this mini iPad 5. I’m looking forward to using this great mini iPad !

If I have many browser tabs open and/or am streaming video, the battery lasts maybe 3/4 of a full day of use at max brightness. I say max brightness because the screen is not super bright; in a bright room or in sunlight I usually wish I could make the screen “10% brighter”. The speakers are great and get pretty loud. The iPad mini has been a great investment for reading. Outside of work and higher ed, I had not been reading very much in the past few years–maybe an hour a day of books, articles, news combined–before purchasing my iPad mini. Now I read for anywhere from 2-5 hours per day. The iPad mini is the perfect size to mimic a page of a book. Also because I do not have any social media on it and turned off most notifications, I can read for long periods of time without getting distracted like I do when using my phone (which has work email, and multiple messaging and social media apps which constantly ping and distract me).The 64gb size is fine for my use patterns. I only download books to my iPad so I don’t require the storage space someone downloading tons of tv and movies would require. I don’t own an Apple Pencil and do not to do any “handwriting” with my iPad mini. I assume the screen would be a little small for handwriting notes anyway. My only gripes are minor: I wish the iPad used Face ID, had better battery life, and a brighter screen. Apart from that, it’s been a great investment and I recommend one to anyone who wants a device for reading, high quality viewing (2266-by-1488), and great portability.
