The iPad Pro 5th Generation excels with its M1 chip, offering laptop-level performance in a sleek, portable design. The stunning Liquid Retina XDR display delivers exceptional brightness and color accuracy, ideal for creative work. The addition of 5G connectivity and Thunderbolt support enhances its versatility. However, the high price and reliance on accessories like the Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil to unlock its full potential can be limiting. While it’s an impressive tool for professionals and creatives, those seeking a more traditional laptop experience might find the iPad Pro less practical for everyday tasks.... Show more

First off, generally speaking I love my iPad. If you’re a professional artist who does my like to be attached to a desk or simply want to have a digital sketchbook, the iPad Pro is fantastic! Now, the things I don’t care about it have everything to do with Apple and the way they go about things… first, to get the iPad Pro I currently have I had to return it twice. Once because I didn’t like the smaller screen size and the second because the screen on my brand new iPad Pro was flickering and unresponsive. The first return was on me for sure but it took two weeks to get the replacement. The second time for the broken screen… let’s just say I’m glad I had recorded the malfunction in action on my phone because without it they would not have exchanged it for a functional ... The second time for the broken screen… let’s just say I’m glad I had recorded the malfunction in action on my phone because without it they would not have exchanged it for a functional one. This had everything to do with apple using my original purchase date for the return cutoff. There were other issues with the exchange for a working iPad Pro but this wall of text is too long already; so I will simply say that apples customer service isn’t as great as apple Stans will tell you and it has everything to do with apple and not with the employees who are just trying to do their jobs. Also, the iOS is nerfed so it’s more like a phone than a full “Pro” level piece of gear; just try to find the file you just saved! And if your workflow requires external interfaces be prepared to spend lots of money every time apple decides to no longer support the gear they supported and you bought six months ago. TL;DR: iPad Pro is a great price of tech there are some amazing apps. However, Apple smells their own farts and publishes it as a new iOS.... Show more

I’ve owned a lot of iPads - minis and regular iPads for the kids. I had an iPad Pro second generation I originally bought to watch movies when I travel for work and to take notes. My wife took it over when she became obsessed with Procreate (a drawing application). Over time the battery got worse and worse and the performance dropped. At one point she couldnt update the application anymore. We bought the iPad Pro 5th generation as a pre release. Like all things Apple, you’re definitely paying a premium but for someone who is serious about their art of craft - worth it. Pros: + the processing power is a BEAST. It’s effortless and smooth. The M1 makes a huge difference. + the camera is amazing and the depth sensor opens worlds of possibilities for immersive, but you’ll likely rarely use it + it’s an Apple so the resell value is great. This reduces the cost of ownership because when you upgrade in a few years you can still sell for a good amount. Neutral (compared to the Gen2): - the Mini LED feels a bit hyped. The screen in side by side comparisons wasn’t noticeably better in my opinion. If you’re not a professional who relies on nuanced color calibration, etc. you may not notice a difference. I am a photographer and don’t think most people will notice a difference. - the form factor remains largely unchanged. With a case it’s still a heavy machine relatively speaking. Negatives - price. I got the 256GB plus a case and a pencil. It’s a big chunk on money for most people. Most people should stick with an Air or regular iPad. Throw in the keyboard and some dongles and taxes and you’ve cleared two thousand pretty easily. - the form factor is slightly thicker than Gen4 so while I got a case which fit, the Apple Pencil didn’t charge. So if you need pencil charging, get a Gen5 case. - Apple really needs to just commit to one port type. This is lightning (USB C) which is great, but most apple products are still lightning. More of an annoyance, but make up your mind Apple! - it’s almost a PC replacement but not quite there for most people. Certain user types may be able yo replace their PC or Mac but I still see it as a secondary device.... Show more

The screen size is comparable to a laptop. Movies while traveling do not require squinting. Sound is excellent (no tinny sound). Sure the 12.9 is a bit more $ than the 11" but the extra screen size makes quite a difference for me. Add all the features to the RAM and storage, speed and high quality graphics and camera, and you've got the ultimate iPad. I purchased this iPad 6th generation to get the facial recognition which is amazing for logging in to many apps because it eliminates the need to enter passwords. I'm 68 and have no desire to keep a list of passwords! I love it. Kudos to Apple. I read a lot of reviews from tech experts and was hoping it would live up to the hype although they did recommend the 11" since the 12.9" really has no great upgrade on ... 0/10 Save your money! Wouldn’t recommend!
This item is completely dysfunctional. Within the first 24 hours of having this item (not even a full day) the screen on this item was uncontrollably GLITCHY, clicking on things by itself on the screen - glitching back and forth, screen jumping from left to right, freezing, can’t tap anything, constantly having to click the lock button to reset the screen and most times that still didn’t work. Photos wouldn’t do justice to show what I am describing but all Apple users know and have experienced this at least once, I’m pretty sure with a damaged Apple device (from dropping, getting wet, internal damage). The outside is beautiful and a lovely iPad. But I’m 100% sure the inside of this item is been damaged somehow, and not repaired. They are just reselling to get money, ... Absolutely frustrating as a travel for work and had to make time to pack and return this item when I should be resting and not stressing about this stupid thing not working for all the money I paid for it! ):... Almost perfect
If it wasn’t for the overcharge marks on the back from the previous owner, this iPad would be perfect, with apple cloud, you almost don’t even need the extra storage. This iPad is big! Very helpful in organizing your life and syncing your apps, documents and pictures. This iPad is best used as a companion to an apple phone. Leave your iPad in your house and synchronize with your phone, then when you’re home, use your iPad for everything, very progressive technology and very helpful! Thanks for offering this product!Another thing I found unacceptable was how dirty the glass screen was, uploaded picture was after using (4) alcohol cleaning pads and it was still dirty! Yuk, I was finally able to get all the fingerprint oil off the screen to apply a screen protector. ... Great device
Best screen ever and insanely powerful. Has handled everything I've thrown at it without so much as a hiccup. It's a little overpriced but that's the trade-off for paying over time. All around, I'm happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend the device. I wouldn't exactly call it a laptop replacement but that's simply because of the lack of certain apps. However, it comes impossibly close. Multitasking is a breeze, especially with stage manager enabled, the display is gorgeous, editing tools work flawlessly, and it speeds through even the most daunting tasks. Not to mention it's a beautiful piece of hardware. IMHO, it's the best tablet you can buy. Also, don't let the 4 star review dissuade you from getting the iPad Pro. I only gave 4 stars because of the price and that is no reflection on the device itself.... Show more

I thought I could return this if it didn’t work
I ordered a couple things before this purchase. I know Walmart has it all so I started getting curious about electronics. Wow! The tablet is less than 1/3 of the price from the Apple Store. Of course after a week it starts glitching. It’s okay right? They let me return that lamp I broke; all useless, with no box. Nope. All the sudden cause it’s “electronics” my store won’t accept the return with no box. Even after I told the app I didn’t have a box. I don’t care if you are worried about a switch-a-roo. I am willing to wait patiently for 10-14 business days for the money back. That is enough time to verify it’s the same item. I’m not okay with you making me have to box up this $800 paper weight to drop it off at a FedEx. Amazon didn’t make me box up my last return! ... MoreI ordered a couple things before this purchase. I said it. Try to keep up guys or I can’t keep recommending the Walmart App to the guys in my group. I’m already done telling my mom to get it, save her this kind of headache. I love Wally World. Team Walmart all the way, but it’s hard to have faith in yall when I put myself out there with this kind of big purchase an all the sudden the easy-hassle free return is no longer an option. I know your app is more than a grocery getter. I really need you to be better than Amazon. Plz... Show more

Not again.
Last time I purchase a refurbished product from Best Buy. When I opened the iPad from the box, not original box because it’s refurbished and I understood that - the power cord that came with the iPad was a lighting power cord. The device I purchased uses a usb-c power cord. When I went to Best Buy to make the exchange for the correct cord they told me they could not do it because it was a refurbished item. I had to call corporate, which I did. Corporate told me I either had to return the product or purchase my own usb-c power cord on my own. Look, at the end of the day it’s a couple of bucks for a cord, but it’s the principle. If you make a mistake, make it right. Not cool Best Buy.... Show more

So far so good
To be honest I was a little nervous about purchasing a renewed tablet as you can never be sure what you're getting until the device arrives. I have to say that so far so good. The 5th gen iPad Pro 12.9 was packed in a non-descript box and was well protected. It came with a non-apple wall charger. After charging the tablet it started right up with defaulted to factory reset condition. Configuration was easy as I used my copied the apps and data from my existing iPad over to the new device.IMO, the tablet is in excellent condition. There are no obvious scuffs, scratches or other defects on its exterior. The screen is perfect. Everything appears to be functioning well. I haven't had it long enough to assess battery life but it seems okay. All in all, it's been a ...
