So here’s the thing I like apple. But don’t like how they try to be so exclusive. I also think they haven’t made as many innovation’s in this last phone as other competitors. They are stale. But I’m hanging in there because I’m so deep into all the apple devices and products and don’t want to start over just yet. That being said. I really like the camera on this phone. It’s much better than my 10 and 11. It runs smoothly I don’t have any glitches until I get to year 2. Then every last phone has gone glitchy and the battery slows and it’s impossible. This is a new phone so idk about its longevity. One thing I was impressed with is when I transferred from my 11 to this 14 pro max EVERYTHING actually transferred this time. Love this new iPhone with its larger screen (which could be larger still) The new color, midnight green, is a breath of fresh air and looks awesome. Will be purchasing a clear case as to not hide the color. The setup on this iPhone was tricky and painful, but was due to my own fault. Buyer beware, if the iPhone you are replacing is in the beta program, you will potentially lose data from the time you entered into the beta program. I was able to get all of my data back after approximately 2 hours, but tried so many choices I am unable to inform you of how I managed to do it. After that hiccup it was smooth sailing from then on. The colors the camera fetches are astonishing as well. The construction of the phone is par for the course comparing it to the last few ... The colors the camera fetches are astonishing as well. The construction of the phone is par for the course comparing it to the last few iPhone builds. New features are awesome as well, starting with the three new 12 megapixel camera with 2x zoom. It supposedly takes three photos which you take and somehow merges them into one better quality image saved to your iPhone. Also has a new ultra-wide camera which can create photos with a 120-degree field of view. Pretty spectacular! According to some reviews I have read the nighttime photography is excellent too. The A13 Bionic chip which powers this iPhone is more than capable of shooting extremely high-quality 4K videos at 60 frames per second. I have found the battery life to be far superior to my previous iPhone to the point I can go 12+ hours of moderate to heavy use without any worries of battery drainage. Fast charge technology is superb utilizing the ATT Charging Pad which is so nice to have. Apple included a large 18W charging plug in the box along with a Lightning-to-USB-C cable. Utilizing either charging method, the phone charges rapidly. Apple says the phone can get about 50% charge in 30. Don’t get me wrong, the iPhone still has its downfalls ranging from the camera bumps, the angle of facial recognition, the silly slofies (opinion), being surprisingly slippery, $$$$$, to still having the same design. Since I upgraded from an iPhone 7+, this iPhone feels like a huge upgrade. Would recommend to friends an family.

My first Samsung was an S5. Since then I purchased Samsung through and including the S21 5G. Decided to change since virtually all my immediate and close family members use iPhones. Been using my iPhone 13 since mid-July 2020. After a relatively short learning curve I am loving it. Simple to use; features are appropriate for my basic needs. Camera is great. Battery so far has been excellent. My biggest complaint so far is the placement of the send arrow in the same box as where you type your text message. It is really easy to accidentally hit the arrow while composing or editing a text message. Very easy to update apps and the operating system. Display is very nice. Does not seem to be as cumbersome to use compared to my previous Android smartphone. So far, I have ... MoreMy first Samsung was an S5. Calls do not drop and no wi-fi or bluetooth issues.
Pros: The colour product red suits the iPhone 13 well, it’s fast and almost no loading times boots up within 12 seconds or less when switching on phone. Cameras are fine both wide and ultra wide. Navigating round the phone is good and quite straight forward, I’ve only ever had iPhones since iPhone 4 and haven’t ever changed phone to android I don’t think there is much point as they all offer the same performance. It’s a good phoneCons: Getting used to a bigger screen can be difficult as I’m used to using one hand and can get around with one hand but I need two hands for this one and I have to stretch out a little sometimes to touch a certain part of the screen. Maybe I could have gone for the mini 13 instead. But I do like the bigger screen other than that little ... Oh and I’ve heard that the screen scratches more easily than previous models so getting yourself a screen protector would be a good idea
Purchased this iPhone 13 in April. Wanted to get ahead of it going out of stock. I was right, as the pink ones are now. I waited for my current contract to finish and then migrate to IOS from Android.Went to make the transfer across yesterday, only to find the iPhone kept spoiling, overheating, short battery life and non-responsive. Even took to a Vodafone store where I was told there was a possible fault with the device,Spent 40 minutes on the phone yesterday holding with customer services, as they are unable to replace, despite the phone being only 3 months old and unused. Instead it took all of this time to find out if my nearest John Lewis store could help with taking my mobile back for repair. Was not impressed with JL policy and customer service on this ... Sold a faulty product and they will not replace after just 3 months and only just trying to use. Only other suggestion was to return it to an Apple store, which I may try to do today. Hope they are more understanding than JL. Will be a long drive to do it in 40 degrees!
I made the switch from Android to IOS because of health issues. Specifically the Health app being much better for ECG and heart rate monitoring. I also bought the Series 7 watch. I am very impressed with the monitoring.Voice recognition on apple iPhone is more accurate and allows you pause longer when dictating. Voice recognition is available nearly everywhere.Facial recognition is outstanding.Apple Maps app is not nearly as good as Google Maps, but you can install Google Maps. The IPhone requires learning many gestures, which are not always intuitive.I miss the back arrow function in Android.Siri has many commands which makes using the IPhone very easy. The IPhone is fast and the screen is excellent.Accessories are abundant. The camera is great. The ... Just upgraded to this from a Samsung Galaxy S10e a couple days ago, and let me tell you something. For me, this was a huge jump because I've had very little experience with iOS prior to buying this phone. And to start off, I love every aspect of this phone, especially Siri and the cameras! Speaking of which, the cameras on this thing are insane! Way less noisy and grainy in the background than my Samsung. Another feature I absolutely love is the Face ID, which detects your face almost instantly, unlike my S10e. And the last feature I really love on this thing is setting Do Not Disturb based on location. This was a feature that my Samsung did not have and I cannot tell you how helpful this is! One being that I don't have to readjust the time schedule of Do Not Disturb and the second being that it will not turn of until you're a certain distance away from that location (which can be adjusted in Settings). Overall, as a former Android user, I cannot tell you how much I love my iPhone 13! It has way more features than my old phone and it's also blazing fast! I would definitely recommend this phone!
It’s not much different from my XR, camera is different but I only take screenshots so not exciting for me Really. I thought it was bigger than the XR but no it’s smaller because of the non curved sides and that’s annoying as wanted same size or bigger! the blue is not like shown on the app when I upgraded, it was advertised as prettier on the app but I opened it and was so upset as it’s so ugly and definitely a blokes phone for sure! Even my child (10) said “yuk” when I showed her! A very ugly dull blue that my new ordered transparent cover sadly won’t hide! I guess it will have to do for the next 36 months! Also the volume is so loud and won’t turn down for calls and texts, so inconvenient to have to have on mute 90% of the time! I was led to believe that my 13 Pro Max would do and be all sorts of wonderful but, actually, it’s not much different than all the rest.Mine has a touchscreen difficulty, similar, at times, the issues that plagued me with my I-6… often I tap, tap, tap on the screen with little or no response. I have to either turn the phone off and restart it… or, reset network settings to get around it. On other occasions, I move my finger within a 1/4” of the screen and it activates whatever was nearest my finger. There have also been times where drops of perspiration, hitting the screen will change a display… depending upon where the drop of sweat hits the screen. There is a glitch, when taking photos, where the photo pixilates. Most often it will normalize when retaking the photo but every once in a while, it will continue to pixelate 2-3 times… differently, with each subsequent photo.I was led to believe that I would be able to take “macro” photos. Apparently, the individual making this claim knows absolutely nothing about photography. Yes, it… on occasion… will take a decent “closeup” (not the same as “macro”) but even that can be difficult and very time consuming because the phone camera cannot decide where the focus should be. My subject of the photo, “bounces” wildly around the screen and I must ready myself to make an extremely quick shot if it “bounces” into a more desired area, compositionally speaking. It’s extremely difficult, also, to get the focus on a smaller object in the foreground, if there is anything large enough, in the background, for the camera to focus on. An example would be, attempting to photograph, say, a flower in the foreground and leaves are behind it… the focus will switch quickly from the flower to the leaves in the background. There seriously needs to be a way to set the camera to focus on the main subject and leave the background blurry. The “portrait mode” is “supposed” to this but it fails miserably the vast majority of the time and you cannot get very close to the subject in “portrait” settings.
